turn the gain down to about 10 or 15 and roll off the treble about 75 % bost the mids about 50% . listen to jeff beck,gary moore,david gilmore, bb king work on the vibrato and the voice like qualities of these players or find your own way to do it . this is what makes the difference between the men and the mice ! nice satch ,hammet thing going on there nice speed just add some cream on the cake now .......sorry for being straight up....would love to Hear this song rerecorded up here go for it !

more like the piano solo from heaven until the guitar comes in and ruins it ! melodicaly your pretty good but you havent an ounce of feeling in your body you need to make your guitar sing but your sound is grainy and not responsive enough and your vibrato is terrible,uneven your just choking it up ! if someone sang using that kind of vibrato they would be f**ked out of the venue so why should you play guitar that way ! vibrato and expression are universal elements for for playing soulfuly ......

Any tips on how to write a melodic, medium/slow guitar solo? I can play them but i cant write them. Which is a shame as i want to write music like joe satriani, steve vai, paul gilbert, john petrucci etc. and be in a band preforming them. So what are some tips?

@pivotgodxd I'm a composer, not a guitarist, but I can tell you that slower music requires more knowledge than skill more often than not. The more you understand musicality and composition the easier it becomes. Then again some people know almost nothing and just play beautiful music out of nowhere.

It depends, really. I've been playing since about 2005, and I started playing sat down. I play fine sat down and standing up. Just keep practising standing up and I'm sure you'll do fine.
