  • @evilswank - and may you rot in hell "B"

  • the baboon is on par with sara palin when it comes to empty words that don't mean shit

  • Makes me wanna play COD modern warfare 2 all over again for some reason.

  • bush and clinton? haven't they done enough?!!!

  • I thought the use of the military was quite helpful in Haiti. Did they not open the ports and get the airport operational.

  • @eoinroe well you thought wrong my freind.they bring lots and lots of gun there instide of what they should have brought in.food and help NOT GUNS!!

  • Ohh, you don't like america ehh? If america stopped it's foreign food donations, it is estimated that between 25 and 35 percent of the entire world population would starve to death within three months. You know what I think? Fuck you, and fuck everyone else. America should be isolationist once again, let the world burn itself to the ground, and we will come then and wipe away the shit that was you and build up something great; which you could never dream of understanding.

  • @edwardrhd8 acually asians/chinnese is smarter

  • @FunSudioz are smarter

  • @canisdormit The reason many countries in the world ARE so impovrished is because of terrorist, imperialistic countries like the U.S. You in the U.S. have throughout history suffocated and exploited other nations economically and militarily with sanctions, etc. and you want a pat on the back for token displays of aid?? It's like beating somone half to death then acting all noble because you gave them a bandage.

  • @bigdobberw Maybe the Haitians would be happier living in the stone age like when we found them? It's not our fault they haven't climbed the evolutionary scale as quickly as Europeans. These "people" just don't have the DNA required to be fit enough to survive .

  • @canisdormit well this is not food donation as you can see.thay bring in guns.dush is part of the reason why america is at war now and obama put him in charge of the haiti funds.wwooow

  • I am sad to say that I see how I was probably mislead now in the past by your "news" stories. I have been deeply offended by this misleading video and hope that your viewers understand what we did in this country. Naming this video had not been given alot of thought also. The violent gangs in Port-au-Prince had an effect on why weapons (along with food) were brought to Haiti.

  • @usmckeeze wwoooww "violent gangs"?what gangs?the weapons where brought in so the soldier can try and take over haiti.they have more guns than food and help.and BUSH,why is bush part of the haiti funds?haven't he done enough.since when did bush care about haiti.hes the reason why america is at war now.

  • @FunSudioz i was there actually and some of these gangs like to use things called machetes. but i guess you know more than i do. i mean youve got your computer sorry

  • A disgrace to the human race

  • i volunteer for a great holy war against the cancer of the world ,the united states

    enlist me !!!

  • wow they really trying to reduce their populaton by 90%

they are trying to starve these ppl to death...

  • Right. How do you explain the genocide being carried out by the Colombian military working with the US army? Did you see that there is a mass grave, the biggest in the continent, with more than 2,000 bodies and the military dumped them inside, arguing that they were bodies defeated in battle, when they were bodies not of guerrillas, but of civilians, amongst them campesinos and community leaders? I wish you would stay the fuck out of our countries :)

  • @libertits See, you seem to think I care about those other countries. I really do not care about Colombia. If the people do not want us there, then why should the U.S. care? Haiti? Different group of people who are appreciative of what the U.S. is doing. I support that. But when it comes to spending our resources here or another country that does not want us, I am in favor of the former. New Orleans is more important to me than any city in Central America.

  • If Colombians knew what their own military supported by US military do to the peoples they wouldn't want you there, only if the government wouldn't control all media and hide these murders, blame the FARC for whatever happens, when the government has their own terrorist organizations responsible . I am sure many don't support you there, but they are killed when they manifest themselves against it and they are dumped in mass graves, they try to make it look like if they were criminals.

  • You see, you are wrong there. You don't *spend* your resources, you go and take resources by force. That's not what the military does, but it is what big US companies do after the military does the preliminary social "cleansing" work. You don't invest any money, you need war to fatten your weapon industry. You are exactly like the spaniards who first came, but do it in another form.

  • You must be fucking kidding me when you say you "spend" your resources.. You INVEST in war and in looting rich countries with poor populations.

You people live in a fantasy world if you think you are philantropic and "spend" in poorer nations. HAHAHA Fairy tales are more likely to exist! You don't know what your companies treat our peoples, like slaves, they pay them like slaves, they exploit them, you buy resources very cheap from corrupted governments who are there protecting your interests.

  • You see, this is what you can't distinguish and how much can be evidenced that you can think in logical terms:

I am IN Germany but I am FROM Honduras. This has NOTHING to do with the discussion and your analogy is simply laughable.

  • I wish you would stop "helping us desperate people" and let us live in peace. Now you are threatening Venezuela. You consider them your enemy even though Venezuela has never ever attacked you nor done anything to you and never would, just because they don't practice what you call "good governance". You don't understand what sovereignity is.

I don't have any problem with US Americans, but I have a problem with their military! You better STAY OUT of our countries, you self-righteous people!

  • You have to decide for Haitians, for Hondurans, for everyone who they should trust! Aristide was a democratically elected president and you ousted him by force, allegedly because of "corruption". Every president is corrupt, but in Latin America, when there is one who improves infrastructure, human development, raises salaries, provides education, he's labelled as "communist" and you, "philantropic" neighbours must oust him. Why don't you oust your own government, I'm sure it's enough corrupt !

  • And in 2004 the US ousted President Aristide again and sent him to exile to Africa. Are you deliberately wanting to omit this little detail?

Your saintly nation has supported paramilitary groups who kill Aristide's followers.

I know that US nationalists have their own versions of history. The resignation letter didn't work out in Zelaya's case, neither in Chávez, neither did it work with Aristides. Your Southcom isn't very original and repeat the same procedures every time.

  • lmao appoint gw bush...hahahaha

  • @elgringorumbero only the ignorent do. Well thats like 60% of the western world :P

  • the U,S plan is falling in to place the U,S MAKES ME SICK now they say the people of haiti are rioting for food just what they want you to see so when the U,S army starts killing people they have a reason.soon you will see they will push them out of the capital, and take over now they ask bush and clintin to step in lol two nwo people in haiti pretending to help, people need to wake up and see that this was another job done by H,A,A,R,P

  • @madman00069

    YEP.... haarp

  • A thought provoking masterpiece.Thank you for telling the truth.

  • I just love these NWO clowns>>>>>>>

  • Did you read my response or what? I just told you that the U.S. Navy has provided constant medical support for critical patients via the 800 medical personnel they have stationed in Port-au-Prince Harbor--that includes doctors, nurses, and technicians.

And to GnosticGuru...the military is dropping in supplies via helicopter into zones where military units are stationed. This alleviates the problem of distributing everything through the airstrip.

Eugenics? Land takeover? Please, come on

  • @MetallicaRunner1 Guess its all ok then... We shall wait and see.

  • The appropriate response would have been immediate air drops of supplies by helicopter. It's all about control by the US. Just a carbon copy of Katrina and New Orleans. Let them all die so there are less to take care of. Eugenics, anyone--specifically the "elimination of undesired populations"? Or land takeover? Not the US! Perish the thought...

  • So you want our money but we have no say as what is done with our money ??

especially given how organized and culturally advanced Haitians are all we need to do is give them money and turn away!

  • (Quote)"""I see this as yet another ploy of destroying any foundation for Latin America to follow their own lead in determining the structure of their own countries."""""

The United States providing aid is a ploy? Stop being brainwashed by news videos like this one. There is no foundation in Haiti right now.

People are busting their asses trying to get people out of collapsed buildings, distribute food and water to millions of people, and provide security.

  • @MetallicaRunner1 But thousands of American soldiers do not make things any better. What they need is thousands of tons of food and water, thousands of aid workers, medics and rescue squads.

Not thugs with big guns and tanks, which is what the US government has been putting there so far.

  • @MetallicaRunner1 Peace keeping? They are not at war...

What I have learned from other non governmental sourses on the ground is that United States Marines arrived, called all of the international search and rescue groups back to the airport, sent them all back home, informed all media personnel that they would not be able to guarantee their safety, forcing those worried about their security to leave, and they took complete control over the airport. They have not rescued one soul so far.

  • @Marco81MX First of all, the Haitian government turned over control of the the only international airport to the United States Military.

The site needs organization. Strict organization. There are 1,400 flights international relief flights due to come in--with 120 to 140 coming in daily.

Also, how about the United States Navy providing help for critical, medical cases? The Navy ship 'Comfort' which is in Port-au-Prince harbor right now. 800 doctors, nurses, and medical tecs.

  • @MetallicaRunner1 Gnostic Guru is right in a way. This is a Katrina type "relief"operation... Late, military based, interested more in keeping people in line than helping them.

You give people Katrina type aid, and you will get Katrina type results.

Again, I believe they need food, medical aid and technitians that can help them dig loved ones out of the ruble, not trigger happy soldiers waiting to shoot somebody for food rioting.

Anyway... I hope you are right for the sake of Haitians.

  • I don't get it who's spitefull it sounds like you are being harsh. This is just another side of the news that is needed but rare. WHY ? ask yourself that.

  • @dpaulson777 Lies and disinformation are not news .I think the response was actually polite for all the hypocritical US haters in Youtube many of whom live comfortably in the west but somehow think the west is the worst place on earth.

You know there is no way to win with this sick left wing crowd because no matter what the US does or doesn't do you will cry like the women you are but meanwhile it is the missionaries who dedicate themselves to truly helping these people!

  • The US, as always, gives the most aid, but also demand that the countries receiving aid follow their suit in terms of the definitions they give for good governance. I see this as yet another ploy of destroying any foundation for Latin America to follow their own lead in determining the structure of their own countries. Haiti will never recover, because the US won't let it become anything else then a tourist spot like f.ex Jamaica.

  • Yeah, because the United States is out to be a permanent occupation force...come on people. And the United States has sent the most aid money out of any country in the world- 130 million.

I understand the politics of this issue and realize the United States' sketchy history in Latin America, but I don't see all the anti-American fuss here. This was a catastrophic earthquake in a very poor country, and it will take considerable time to reach everyone who requires assistance.

  • ...which means that if the US Southern Command is using it as an opportunity to extend their reach in Latin America, it would be all the more reproachable. If it isn't in fact doing that, all the better, of course.

It remains a good idea to find out, nevertheless.

  • looting? if your in the same postion and want to survive you'll start eating eachothers not only loot.

  • The Rothschild family owns Reuters news which owns AP. SO watch out what they say!

  • The Republic of Haiti, the only COMPLETELY BLACK republic in the Western Hemisphere also happens to be the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. It also has the lowest life expectancy, highest illiteracy, lowest per capita consumption of newsprint, lowest per capita GNP, and the lowest level of political stability.

  • Here some food for thought watch this:

You may think your smart because you read books but do question it?

    RON PAUL 2012! I'ms OUT!

  • @xm377

The problem, in this limited case, was time. By the time all other nations got to talking about it, the USA was already deployed.

Ignore the reality if you wish, but the USA moves quickly and with force. That cuts both ways, because we can kick the shit out of other nations or do good works.

The recipe laid out by all the folks who disdain the USA is a lot more dead Haitians. Sorry, I've lived in Mexico, nothing happens on time. I love the place, but you can't deny that.

  • Americans should just pull out of Haiti,

    altogether.

    We have no business there.

Let the Haitians handle their problems

    themselves.

  • @DAT573 they want US money ,of course they want to manage their own affairs like they have for around 200 years with results everyone can see.!

  • I know a 38 year old Haitian in my tech. school and he didn't even know how to open a microwave door....So am I surprised of the crazy stuff you heard about 'em the past couple of days?(like you never have in the past-_-) NO...

  • Usually I don't believe almost anything from the mainstream media but what do you think AP is? They're pretty bias/backed by UN type corps.

Haiti in the first place as a wild place, very organized & blatantly controlled by fear of the mobsters(their leaders, slave owners basically). ALL THAT MONEY OF DONATIONS, YOU REALY THINK MAKES IT TO THE FAIR PEOPLE OF HAITI? Come on now. SO all in all I'm not surprised they're killing each other 4 survival(LOOTING)& killing rescue.

  • Well.. here we are, in this neo-capitalistic world, Haiti will be bought by private corporations and occupied by US military and probably corporate armed forces. Awesome..

  • Neo-Capitalistic do you mean Socialist?

Because thats what they had in Haiti but socialism doesn't work & thats why its always been such a bad place. And its happening here, with "keynesian economics"(Government in the private sec./SOCIALISM).

  • wow.. um, read "new-capitalistic" aka something in place of what was capitalism.. Look up the definition of Socialism.. Because your confused, and when you use terms you don't understand you confirm that. Look at the people helping one another, that could be considered socialism..What your confusing is STATE!-socialism, or totalitarian, or dictorial gov. Socialism in not a government structure, its a social structure. It only works for those who enjoy/agree with its principles.. yyeeahh..

  • "Socialism is the precursor to communism"-Karl Marx(you wanna get scholarly)

Who would want communism? The actual people? Socialism is definitely being pushed by the elite. With socialism u need everyone to be in or else it doesn't work, so they'll force you or they'll lock u up.Buddy I know what socialism is I live in Massachusetts... And I know what Capitalism is & we use the illusion of credit, so I don't see Cap. there.

Talkin about forms of government, not ppl helping ppl.. yyeeahh..

  • Socialism: Democratic control of the means of production by those who work. Thats schoarly socialism.

Thats not in Massachusetts, ergo: its not socialist. Marxism includes the state as a temporary mean to enforce the rights of the workers to have a say in economical decisions. Thats not necessary, there is as well a state-less socialism movement (left-libertarians).

  • Single payer health care= socialism...yes we have that here. Its taken out of our taxes, we don't have a say if we want that to happen. We never did... socialism buddy...

We're suppose to be a Republic, but supposedly living here in Mass. I've seen that the Democratic way is: They've raised the taxes without any vote on it because there DEMOCRACTIC WAY IS THAT "WELL YOU VOTED FOR US, SO I THINK THIS IS OUT OF YOUR BEST INTEREST" type attitude. What else will they do "democraticly".

  • Oh & we also have the most expensive insurance hmm I wounder y? Cuz they need all the other states 2 Nationalize,Socialize (NAZI) health care. They need 2 drag everyone in so everyone fails ultimately and if not MA. will fail on its own, faster.

"Far left" Dems. their favorite man Karl Marx, thats his quote, you would think he would know it best. And ultimately socialism sounds like it to me, its a scam. Musicians don't care they get to do coke all day long & make $ writing songs bout Bush.

  • Socialism means democratic ownership of industry. It has nothing to do with your totalitarian fantasies.

As for Haiti, you should pick up a book, learn something, then attempt to show how it demonstrates "socialism doesn't work". All I've seen from you is the typical anti-socialist right wing rant and claims without evidence, that are both becoming a cliche on youtube.

  • Who says I'm right wing.

And you can put 2 & 2 together. Yes, I said socialism doesn't work,(and you can use your eyes for evidence)thats what they HAD there because of their poverty and now its worse & it snowballs.

  • How does socialism not work? Weak socialism seems to be working fine in countries with high rates of education. Capitalism puts a price on education, like it does with everything else and this prevents the poorest people from 'buying' what should be their rights. You say poverty is a snowball but somewhere else wealth is snowballing in the hands of a few people. GSG payed out $700,000 per employee last year while 80% of Haitians still live in poverty. Capitalism is legalized exploitation.

  • The ppl u should really worry about that have money, wipe there ass with a 100bill every mornin, the kinda ppl that think in corp. bureaucracies and not in dollar bills, their past that point.Ya c its this whole notion that Bob down the street thats been in a 3rd generation family buisness thats makes good $, they've happen 2 make it in THIS LAND OF OPPORTUNITY. I said poverty snowbalss because people can be like junkies, your gonna keep on trying 2 make urself feel good but the crash... oh man

  • Hear this might shed some light on this, short and simple good point here:

    watch?v=21fi6mYjhKI&feature=PlayList&p=7E3A42D888432DB8&index=129

  • Its black or white with you guys.(An ex. of how hypocritical libs are) 1st of all it should be INDIVIDUAL rights but what about the white people born in S. Africa, "politicaly correct" wouldn't they be labeled "African American" too? huh? See you liberals don't think things through. It seems to me that THATS actually racism...

Picking up a book to you means picking up something thats been propaganda-ized to me.

"Without evidence" Because theres not enough character count theres so much.

  • Some more evidence! And try to conscious of your denials...

    watch?v=p51Ad8NRQSw&feature=rec-r2-2f-7-HM

  • Global warming a hoax?

    That's precious.

    Good talking to you.

  • Well for the record you didn't hear it out and thats only like the first part, it mainly just shows you the connections behind the scams.

  • wow, peeps got ma back :D (proper ingrish what?) :D anyways.. crusty man, friggin look up what socialism means.. your are not helping your case or YOURSELF.. your living a lie by being ignorant.. Paganini and DirEin have it pretty much down, thats what socialism is.. Your talking about totalitarian style gov.. which is sadly in place.. pretty much, or some twisted form of welfare. We have not seen a real communism, i would prolly enjoy REAL communism, life would be simple, depending on structure

  • But u r saying it yourself. You do say "totalitarian" socialism is in existence? 2 me just a little socialism is a weg 2 weed it in there & incrementally over time have it fully & like theyr main man Karl "precursor to Communism". Socialism in my own layman terms is a scam 2 get ppl 2 believe that its great for them makes life EZ which it does 4 a bit, but like another quote"Socialism is great until u start running out of OTHER ppl's $".I don't care about text book def. I talkin bout whats real.

  • ok dude.. your getting into a lot of other issues here. ANY possible government structure could work perfectly given right leadership. NO, we have totalitarian gov plain and simple.. it is just that, nothing else, in place in certain situations.. What they are talking about IS NOT SOCIALISM.. that is the point...Its government control they just decided to use the wrong term for.. thats it.. Why are they, because if they started throwing around totalitarian.. people would get upset..

  • Its all a part of the scheme, just get people really confused, make us sound like morons to the rest of the world, can't even use terminology correctly. Use socialism, because its not so bad in reality, confuse people and get them riled up over nothing.. so they distract us fro many real issues or details, to busy fighting about "socialism".. Dems, Reps=same goals. Take from the rich and give to the poor, depend on whos taking/giving, but social communism, totalitarian, dictatorship, one of 3

  • I respect ur arguement man but I just can't help but see how every other country is shit now because they fell off the dead end we're heading towards...

[Ron Paul- Socialism in a Libertarian society vs Libertarianism in a Socialist society]

    watch?v=21fi6mYjhKI&feature=PlayList&p=7E3A42D888432DB8&index=129

  • YES, and thank you sir for quality conversation, its always great to chat with some one of opposing ideology and not get into a cursing match. However, another side to the socialism thing. Why is it given such a bad name here? simple, if its in place, CEO, boards, higher powers and all that go away completely.. they goes their control, so confuse the principle and solve the issues, and count on people NOT looking into its actual meaning.

  • Clinton to be named U.N. envoy to Haiti in May 2009. Coincidence in preparing to help Haiti in their upcoming "NATURAL DISASTER".

    /watch?v=7dT1UUXNgMA

  • disgusting ...

  • Read "The Shock Doctrine" by Naomi Klein and you will see how the IMF and World Bank bribe the political oligarchy and economically enslave nations in weakened conditions.

The central banks masquerade as generous humanitarians. However, their past history shows that they will saddle the Haitians with insurmountable debt and loot their natural resources.

To learn about how central banks generate fiat currency from nothing at the expense of others, read "The Creature From Jekyll Island".

  • Those banks seem to be emulating 'honorable' imperial France's (along with the new slave-owning U.S.A.'s) blockade of the newly self-freed slaves. Us empires don't take kindly to losing to slaves that revolt. Haiti was forced to accept what would be many billions of today's dollars to buy themselves. They didn't manage to complete those payments till after WWII.

  • Instead of sending crooks like Bush and Clinton to prison where they belong they get to become envoy's to a foreign country to exploit a vulnerable population.

Nothing is more appalling to me than the lack of justice in the world.

  • finally,The RealNews have news about Haiti about time!!

  • Comment removed

  • The U.S. owes Haiti big time. Our history with Haiti is horrible. When Haitians threw out the French & slavery the slave owning U.S. refused to recognize Haiti out of fear that our slaves might rebel & throw off their chains. U.S. Marines occupied Haiti from 1915-1934 leaving with the installation of the corrupt & brutal Duvallier.

When Aristide was elected the U.S. , under Bush I. helped to remove him. Death squads followed. One death squad leader Toto Constant freely walks our streets.

  • Disgusting to profit off of peoples suffering.

  • well spent , i surely can count on bush and clinton, lol.

  • I'm really watching CNN, aren't I?

  • message to Clinton: we KNOW our money is well spent when we donate to MSF!

Bush: just the way you say "friend" makes me shiver and I hear "betrayl"

  • Given limited land productivity (largely limited due to their small land mass), island nations/states have very few ways to enter the developed world in a sustainable manner, which are as follows:

    1) Developing a strong offshore financial sector (like the Bahamas)

    2) Five-star tourism (like Hawaii)

    3) A major seaport (like Singapore)

    4) Subsidized occupation by another nation, often for political reasons (like US and British territories)

  • wow, were usa gona be the same way pretty soon, got any bullets? can I has some? i heard busch was tryin to buy up all the ammunition manufacturures to keep us from gettin ammo... why they wana go do that i wonder? this is all i got to say, you come for me or mine, ur gona need to do a whole lot more than get rid of all the ammo! those assholes are gona make a big mistake, and have a million pissed off patriots on there hands!!!

  • Chaos

    Thats the future for US

  • subscribed

  • He claims there are no great riots and violence going on. What??

Are all news channels and the huge number of videos/photos published by thousands of sources all a part of a conspiracy?

I find this report to be rubbish

  • which fotos/videos?

i didn´t saw these videos/photos of great riots

only one concrete report bout police shooting people storming a supermarket to get food.

food.. not loot for money, riot, kill...etc.

where are the photos/videos of the barricades of dead people, which was all over the news?

And this is no conspiracy, it is just the wellknown media problem of lack of research+ copying from oneanother and hyping, sensationalising to get their ratings, sell their papers....etc.

  • I saw on the news that America was to INVEST $100 million...kinda got me thinking, you dont invest in aid its supposed to be free isnt it? Investment doesn't that mean that they want something in return? Hmmm is America up to something here or what?

  • What would happen if millions of desperate Haitians were to start emigrating to the USA?

Preventing this and securing stability is well worth an investment

  • Well seen as America all ready displaced these people originally they have the right to America as far as I can see? That sounds fair, stability is definately needed there and Im sure America with their guns will be more than willing to help out, its just an other chance to take over, like Iraq or many other countries they have invaded or 'helped out'.

  • The IMF (International Monetary Fund) not "America".

Besides, whats your shit country doing for the Haitians?

  • No need to dismiss the Germans is it?

Btw,they are one of the largest players in the IMF

  • My shit country? I suppose you mean Britain? I dont own the country and its run by corrupt bullshitters, I heard we gave £20 million but I dont know the truth, nor do you! Besides America is so helpful I mean look how much they helped in New Orleans?

  • Fact is that Americans are the most generous people on Earth. Total aid to other countries in 2007 was over 300 billion. Sit on your gloomy little island and be jealous.

  • Also the FACT is America invades the most countries in the world, damn right they ought to give aid when America has taken or owns most of their resourses, also Americans are the biggest consumers on earth, the fattest on earth and the most materialistic, who says they are generous as individuals when in actual fact you said ' IMF' gave the money? not America, get your FACTS straight you dont know what your talking about, Im happy on my Island thank you theres nothing to be jealous of.

  • Hey buddy, UK is Iraq and Afghanistan too. You sound awfully jealous over there about how great we Americans have it. Living on a cold wet rock getting you down?

  • Hey Mr Knows nothing, except his EGO, I live in a beautiful rural area in the Yorkshire dales this has nothing to do with America or UK and your insults are lame they also show your losing a debate and your your childish enough to try and insult me? why are you defensive ?

  • Your original assertion that America "displaced" these people and that we are now only helping them for some selfish reason is incorrect and offensive. The truth is that Haiti's last occupier was France. There are thousands of American aid workers over there right now supported by our fantastic military helping those people. So get fucked and enjoy the rain.

  • Your a retard, slave trade went on there and Americans oh well we all know the part they played, your fantastic military are mostly uneducated rapists and murderers who couldn't find a job anywhere else although not all are like that, and to say its been so many days the real news says, your fantastic military havnt handed shit out yet, so fuck you too, you deserve all your going to get and its not raining here so double fuck you, wanker!!!

  • Respond seriously: If you don't know the slightest thing about Haiti and apparently you make such outrageous claims that most people having BASIC knowledge about Haiti would find outrageously laughable and ignorant, why do you argue so self-righteously when you obviously have not read a paragraph (and obviously have no intentions to) .Do you know the last country to ocupy Haiti was the US, officiall it being a century after France on 1915? I know, all you need to know is Haitians are black.

  • When Obama asked Bush and Clinton to take the lead in Haitian relief, I almost choked. Putting murderers and thieves in charge of relief is like putting the fox in charge of feeding the chickens. Who do you think is going to get fat off of this crisis?

  • You have a distorted view of the world if you think these two elder statesmen are colluding to try and make money off this tragedy. Must be a sad, depressing world to live in.

  • Apparently you're just plain blind. Calling these two hypocrites 'elder statesmen' is like calling Hitler a champion of freedom and democracy. After all he was democratically elected. Do you even know what Clinton's and Bush's policies were in regard to Haiti? You should start looking at the 'world view' through a better lens; reality.

  • An airlift may not provide enough food or essentials, but it would provide some hope. There's no way I'd send FEMA in there only to mess things up.

  • Disgusting New World Order Eugenicists!

  • ? An earthquake killed these people. They mostly died because their own corrupt government didn't enforce building codes.

  • Mexico is potentially a GREAT nation, but its crippled by corruption and a culture that's simply too F-ing slow.

In normal times, Mexico COULD send troops there to patrol the streets. This is a situation that logistically is beyond ALL capacity, worldwide, to deal with quickly.

The USA is inadequate to deal with this massive disaster, how the hell is Mexico supposed to deal with this.

I think you don't grasp the scale of the tragedy, the logistical problems, etc.

    Viva Mexico!

  • The U.S has contributed to the slow developing Latin American Countries. Source: Confessions Of an Economic Hitman.. By John Perkins..

  • Thanks for the book info.

Trust me, I don't absolve the USA from guilt or complicity in the woes of other nations. I'm simply saying that the scale of THIS disaster is such that aid from anyone can be characterized as a net negative.

I simply contend that NO OTHER ENTITY could respond as massively or quickly.

This is a humanitarian disaster on a scale that many folks here aren't really wrapping their brains around.

The USA has done AWFUL things, that's simply beyond dispute.

  • I agree. It's in the grey. Good info you shared...

  • @michaelahenderson

Its refreshing to have someone cite a BOOK ;-)

I kinda flipped out when characterized by some of the more venomous folk as someone who watches FUX NEWS. However, I found this report to be really biased and not realistic.

I'm not makiing things up, I do my research, and try to make valid points.

Am I cynical? Hell's yeah, but decades of paying attention will do that to a person.

  • You'll know the US has arrived when they start having suicide bombing attacks in Haiti!

  • More military is always better! Look how well it's working for us in Afghanistan...

  • Fact is, the military is large force of manpower that can be shifted to disaster zones quickly. Would you expect civilians to try and walk into a million starving people and not get hurt trying to hand out food and water? Military will keep the order and allow the supplies to get to those in need in an orderly fashion.

  • I have always held the philosophy that I give. If one penny out of every pound I give reaches the people then it is better than nothing.

As for the politicians, there are no better than sewer rats, as for Bush and Clinton, two more poisonous and vile worms would be hard to find. This worries me much!. A friend in the USA? This from someone who would not even land in New Orleans?

The rescue services, have my blessing a more dreadful job I cannot imagine. The military they have equipment.

  • We've had our boot on the neck of Haiti since Thomas Jefferson was President.

  • It was actually the French who occupied Haiti.

  • You need a history lesson. Go ogle, "Why the US Owes Haiti Billions: The Briefest History."

  • good report

  • What's happen in Haiti is a tragedy, I fear that more people will die in the aftermath of the earthquake than the actual earthquake itself.

  • funny how reporters and police can get everywhere, but the millions in aid, food and water hasn't moved from the airport. If soldiers can carry guns, why can't they carry goods? This is Katrina all over again. It's been a week... This is completely unacceptable. Even criminally irresponsible.

  • Great news BTW.Thanks!

  • AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGHHHH ! Somebody please kill those guys ! PLEASE ! Use anything.... but kill them. I CAN'T STAND IT ! Bush has postponed his place in hell for way too long. He has to go NOW ! Somebody please send him there.... along with the two others... PLEASE ! Do it for mankind !

  • 3:10 is the funniest knowing how the Clinton and Bush administrations stole all the money they could from the people im sure they are placed in this position to steal much more :)

  • Thanks for the info.

  • By choosing Clinton and Bush they have virtually guaranteed a low donation turnout. No ordinary people respect either of these men. And Mr. Bush, don't speak for me, do not say what Americans think. We are still partly free to think as we will. We have nothing in common with you. I do not know one person, from the homeless to rocket scientists, who like Mr. Bush. love to the stricken.

  • get FEMA down their ASAP...THEY ARE THE ELITE IN ANY DISASTER

  • Lol, you're joking right? (New Orleans, for example?)

  • Indeed, much of Haitis current problems are directly attributable to the exploitation and repression during Frances colonial rule, as well as the brutal, far-reaching measures imposed on Haiti by the major powers in response to Haitis declaration of independence.

Arguments supporting Frances right to have drained Haitis treasury were not persuasive 200 years ago, and they are not persuasive now. ~ Professor Charles Ogletree, Harvard Law School

  • fuk the french elite

  • how the hell is the U.S going to help? The clintons and bush have torn america apart and now these same people who gained a lot are being set up to help Haiti? WTF is wrong with this picture??

  • how does an earthquake hit the heart of Haiti? Is that area a hot bed for earthquakes, does that area have a history of earthquakes? And why clinton and Bush to help with Haiti, what the fuk is wrong with Obama? Is he a puppet by the war, fear, and genocide mongers...Clinton = Rhwanda!!

  • Don't forget Clinton's hand in the destruction of Yugoslavia. All of those pipelines they are building in places like Croatia and Macedonia were certainly one of the long term goals of those "investments". Clinton and the Bushes are nothing but criminals and should be sentenced to death by a court of international law just as they deserve.

  • Haitian people can not negotiate on nothing now with the U.S. And yes, the fear and war mongers of the U.S will descent like hungry vultures. Now, with this crisis, The Haitian people are owned by the U.S war, fear, and genocide mongers of the U.S so called democratic state of America!!

  • Doctors trained at Socialist Cuba's renowned ELAM medical school have been on the ground giving real help to Haitians from the start. Cuba had 400+ doctors on the ground before the quake and more came after. Cuban doctors set up the first real field hospitals right where the former hospitals in Port au Prince had collapsed. These Cuban doctors treated over 800 Haitians the first day. Cuba also trained most native Haitian doctors. Cuba does all this despite the 50 year US embargo!

  • Wait a second, Is haiit the other 911 we were expecting? I just do not understand why Haiti would get a full blown earthquake on the island and not anywhere else? HAARP?

  • America and France with their colonialism, imperialism, and theft of resources made Haiti poor they are the reason these people died in the quake: due to Haiti's poverty and lack of infrastructure. A comparable quake in Calif in 1989 only killed 70 or so people. Socialist Cuba had 400+ doctors already in Haiti and Cuba (still under 50+) US embargo is sending more docs. Yet US only has peanuts when compared to the countless billions they spend on wars and in "aid" to Zionist "Israel" every year.

  • well, look at Katrina. U.S lagged with doctors while Mexico was sending in aid and doctors, the U.S power fear mongers stopped not only Mexico but other aid nations as help...that was under bush!!

  • West propagandists pathetic. America is doing nothing for Haiti except moving in the US army to occupy. Even if Obama gives the alleged 100 million he promised that is NOTHING. US is going to spend 30 billion just for the extra 30,000 troops they are sending to continue the occupation of Afghanistan this year. US spends untold billions on wars and occupation. Read Haiti's history US and France owe untold billions in reparations to Haiti more then any alleged "aid" they give Cuba is doing more
