your half right , i like your set up, missing only a magnetic stirrer and need to control 500ma to 2ma, youl get crystal clear solution high ppm content no sediments or oxidation at all. your voltage is perfect. take a look at my set up.
any discoloration or sediments is of less purer solution and efectiveness still gets the job done.

Not a good idea using spring water, it has way to many dissolved solids and you are creating a lot of silver salts and what not. Also you should use one silver wire and one stainless steel wire, the silver will plate better and you will have more ions getting into the water instead of forming salts. One more thing, get a fish tank o2 pump to circulate the water during generating the ionic silver. This will further prevent the formation of large silver chains and salt formations.

Use either distilled water or reverse osmosis water. Be safe and stay healthy.

You can also simply use 3 nine volt batteries instead of the power supply.

You only turn blue when you make it to a dark purple color by using acid and put that on your skin.
This is the method Dr. Bob Beck teaches to purify water.
