And the legendary dogs, and finally going back to Kanto, and fight old leaders, and visiting it, and you could notice that in-game the story really progressed (I mean Gold/Silver being years later than Red/Blue), and finally the best battle Gold/Silver vs Red!
Many good things in those games, I was really disappointed with Ruby and Sappire not having the same depth as Gold/Silver.
I agree Gold and Silver are the best versions, the ones that did the most steps in the right direction. I loved the PokeGear, the new Pokemon, since they actually look like Pokeon, not like the new ones that look more like Digimons. The Eggs, the radio, the day/night. The special "day events" (like Friday, you could get Hitmontop on a secret cave) or the week end you could get Lapras too. The day siblings that give you an item.
Me too. Silver & Gold were the best Editions, in my Opinion. They had Radio Stations you could listen to while traveling, the Berries were new, You could make someone Your Pokéball-crafting slave, revisit Hoenn, get a total of 16 Badges and do so much other stuff. None of the newer Editions had that many NEW features included.
