Warrant didn't even go on 'till over 2 hours after time scheduled, and went on with just 60% of a sound system; the storm blew out about half of it. Jani's show in Vegas, 7 days earlier was the problem

There is a time and place for 80's and 90's music and it was in the 80's and 90's. I was a fan of those era's considering I graduated in "86" but enogh is enough. personally, i think the grunge scene was better than a bunch of one-hit wonders that never got anywhere with their music.
you ever hear anyone talk about other songs by warrant besides "cherry pie"? no, of course not, because that was their only hit.

It's pretty tragic that Jani couldn't keep it together. It would have been a huge comeback. No telling how long it would have lasted if Jani were to keep it together. But, considering all the bad blood for so many years, and they (the other members of Warrant) put aside differences, and give it a shot again, and Jani ruins it. Sad. I liked them.

@trentcreek - I will not argue with the fact that Jani Lane is the poster child for what drug and alcohol addiction can do to a great talent. He definitely has some demons. No question about it. I look at these videos of Warrant to see the jani that WAS so great. He is not what he once was, but I do enjoy hearing his music and seeing his performances on here. He was a great songwriter/singer. :)

There is a time and place for 80's and 90's music and it was in the 80's and 90's. I was a fan of those era's considering I graduated in "86" but enogh is enough. Old guys trying to make a buck, if they wouldnt have pissed it away when they had it and invested it they probably would be laughing at shit like this instead of trying to make some cash and looking old and bloated.

Being a musician, and 38 years old, I can understand where these guys are coming from. For some of them, such as Joey Allen, has a successful software company. He didn't piss his money away. Sometimes the music is just in your blood. Playing live is a hard feeling to capture in any other way. Look at the Rolling Stones, those guys are dinosaurs but still playing live.

Yeah, I saw that on "VH1: Behind the Music" on the L.A. glam scene. Maybe it was on 80's metal in general (which would have included the SF metal scene too).... You get the point. Anyway, yes, I saw him say that, but I looked at Wiki on him and according to that he recanted that whole thing. He said he was tired and had been doing the interview for hours and such and he didn't mean that, and in fact he liked how he made a song so many people still like. Check it out.

Woo wee he looks like he is allergic to bee stings or something because he looks pretty puffy. No wonder the reunion was short lived. I was lucky enough to see them in their prime in 1991 at the Civic Center in Portland ME. Those days are gone and so is Warrant. I like Robert Mason as a singer, dont get me wrong, but as with bands, the voice is what makes the reunion, not 80%. Get well Jani and thanks for the memories!
