Extraordinary claims should require extraordinary proof. Atheism in my opinion is not making a claim. Its saying I have seen no proof therefor I dont believe anything or have to proof anything. By default the belief and claims of a god, an invisible man you cant see raises the question is there a god. Atheist are not making a claim but merely an observation. In science and in the truth movement I think we need level headed people who dont believe in invisible things or whatever they hear.

I am agnostic-agnostic, since I remain open to believing, if there is some way to be sure it is right. But we CAN make objectively provable statements about the world, which becomes "The Truth" when there is no more room for doubt.
Indeed, the Truth Movement should be focused on what is provably correct, because we are countering very strongly held beliefs that we couldn't be correct. Different faiths will rarely resolve, but proof should trump them all.
Truth and Love. The truth is that truth and love have something in common, the sense of being absolutely right and consistent with all that we know and feel. Thus we may confuse the two, whereas truth is very objective and impersonal while love is very subjective and personal. And I love that we can conceive such things.

@TheBaByG You are very real in your videos, very present. And that makes me want to pay close attention to your every word. I think your self-awareness is partly a reflection of you being aware that others are (or will be) aware of you. Being too aware of how you are walking can make you trip and fall on your face. So the trick is to keep the awareness and sense of presence, which is great, but just flow with it rather than getting entangled by it. Looking forward to more. :)
I totally agree. One must see the distinction between truth and people's understanding of truth; these are not the same thing but so many don't see the difference, believing their understanding of the truth is the truth. I'm glad you see this distinction. Truth doesn't need anyone to understand it; it was here since the beginning of time, long before any person existed to attempt to model it in their mind. The mental model of a thing is not the thing itself.

The many different religions are not necessarily associated with truth. Now the "truth" movement is political in nature. It's a different beast altogether. In all honesty according to the Bible those that believe in God are to be neutral to politics of this world. That means they would also be neutral to the truth movement since it is worldly. According to Jesus' own words his followers are to be no part of the world. So they would be teachers of biblical truth. Just wanted to say this.

The common atheist is often just mocking religious people because in thee end they can provoke them a lot.(and the other way around. You must understand that. Atheists can't make Atheism their own religion, for obvious reasons. Even if we wanted to make it our own religion, we couldn't. We could make it a cult, if that's what you mean.
Atheism has a different interpretation for each Atheist. To me, Atheism is the acceptance of reality, while others see it as a philosophy etc.

You say that you don't believe that the truth should be mixed in with religion. I see it a little differently.
I've just written a book (Evolving Towards the Truth). I contend that there are many small t truths, but only one Truth.
The real Truth should be testable, evident, and not afraid of the light of day.
As humans, we need to evolve spiritually. We need to become more mature in our beliefs, and not so prone to simply accepting some myth just because it makes us feel good.
When the American People realize their strength is found in the Spiritual precepts our country was founded on, and not on their individual methods of practicing their faith, maybe then you will have the type of interchange that doesn't erupt into shattered, finite bickering over religious dogma.
Religion is hard to separate from any social perspective...the Spiritual ideology of any group of people is the glue of the group's common vision of the world and their basis for Law. One can no more divorce the Spiritual systems accepted by the group's thinking from the actions of the group, than one can stop the schooling instincts of fish.

@TheBaByG Truth/reality/political awareness and religion are one and the same in many minds. The division in the 'truth' movement is what happens when people dont have the same values. Divisions will always exist no matter what 'movement' you're in unless it is highly authoritarian and regimented. You're promoting unity which is a value and necessitates that people believe similar things or have the same world view. That is where religion or belief comes in. Tower of babel is a good study :D

People who believe in their religion will hear you saying that it doesn't (or shouldn't) matter what religion they have as the more extreme position that you don't care about religion at all. Extraordinary claims should require extraordinary proof. Atheism in my opinion is not making a claim. Its saying I have seen no proof therefor I dont believe anything or have to proof anything. By default the belief and claims of a god, an invisible man you cant see raises the question is there a god. Atheist are not making a claim but merely an observation. In science and in the truth movement I think we need level headed people who dont believe in invisible things or whatever they hear.

I am agnostic-agnostic, since I remain open to believing, if there is some way to be sure it is right. But we CAN make objectively provable statements about the world, which becomes "The Truth" when there is no more room for doubt.
Indeed, the Truth Movement should be focused on what is provably correct, because we are countering very strongly held beliefs that we couldn't be correct. Different faiths will rarely resolve, but proof should trump them all.

I think your self-awareness is partly a reflection of you being aware that others are (or will be) aware of you. Being too aware of how you are walking can make you trip and fall on your face. So the trick is to keep the awareness and sense of presence, which is great, but just flow with it rather than getting entangled by it. Looking forward to more. :)

I totally agree. One must see the distinction between truth and people's understanding of truth; these are not the same thing but so many don't see the difference, believing their understanding of the truth is the truth. I'm glad you see this distinction. Truth doesn't need anyone to understand it; it was here since the beginning of time, long before any person existed to attempt to model it in their mind. The mental model of a thing is not the thing itself.

The many different religions are not necessarily associated with truth. Now the "truth" movement is political in nature. It's a different beast altogether. In all honesty according to the Bible those that believe in God are to be neutral to politics of this world. That means they would also be neutral to the truth movement since it is worldly. According to Jesus' own words his followers are to be no part of the world. So they would be teachers of biblical truth. Just wanted to say this.

1. Belief needs no proof, those who have proof need not believe. I build Faith on what I can prove Intuitively beyond Reasonable doubt with Wisdom+Knowledge(Gnosis). No matter you don't believe in God yet, He believes in you. Truth is, God IS Love, Christ is the Word of God. Satan means adversary, in the dictionary. Confusion is the curse of disobedience to God's law allowing Satan to distort with half truths+lies. Wisdom is Discernment from Knowledge and Truth with LOVE as LAW. Live in TRUTH

Atheists can't make Atheism their own religion, for obvious reasons. Even if we wanted to make it our own religion, we couldn't. We could make it a cult, if that's what you mean.
Atheism has a different interpretation for each Atheist. To me, Atheism is the acceptance of reality, while others see it as a philosophy etc.

I thought about your video driving to work this morning:) Not your pretty eyes that brought me back:) For years I used to call myself an agnostic, but isn't an agnostic actually an atheist "sitting on the fence"? Or to put it harshly, isn't an agnostic an atheist without balls? I really hope not to offend because you seem like such a kind person. I just don't think our beliefs differ significantly enough to have different labels. But atheist is a dirty word to many.

You are very interesting:) When you described religion you forgot to mention that it is also hatred and violence. It bugs me a little when we atheists are accused of being like the religious. You said "I'm not one of those atheists people who make atheism their own religion" Well, I don't know a single atheist who has done that. We atheists are the only minority that's fair game for insults and discrimination. I wish people would stop making upp things about us that aren't true.

I dont think you understand what agnosticism is.
Its says nothing about what you believe or accept as true.
Either you believe a claim that a god exists or you reject that claim.
Gnosticism deal with certianty of knowlage not holding a particular belief.
Agnosticism / Gnosticism and Atheism/Theism deal with distinct epistimological catagories that are not mutualy exclusive.

You say that you don't believe that the truth should be mixed in with religion. I see it a little differently.
I've just written a book (Evolving Towards the Truth). I contend that there are many small t truths, but only one Truth.
The real Truth should be testable, evident, and not afraid of the light of day.
As humans, we need to evolve spiritually. We need to become more mature in our beliefs, and not so prone to simply accepting some myth just because it makes us feel good.

Religion is hard to separate from any social perspective...the Spiritual ideology of any group of people is the glue of the group's common vision of the world and their basis for Law. One can no more divorce the Spiritual systems accepted by the group's thinking from the actions of the group, than one can stop the schooling instincts of fish.

A little bit of drama goes a long way guys.... I had no idea about the drama until someone told me the other day. I stay focused on facts/truth and don't get mixed up in the fighting/division. Many use it as a way to gain hits and or subs. I think if you build a network in that way, it is bound to be full of chaos.. no matter how much you try and be a peace maker outwardly. Reminds me of the media or mainstream news.... get views by reporting drama or propaganda.

Logic does not preclude your understanding or practice of belief... it enhances it... in fact belief or 'faith' is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen". @TheBaByG Truth/reality/political awareness and religion are one and the same in many minds. The division in the 'truth' movement is what happens when people dont have the same values. Divisions will always exist no matter what 'movement' you're in unless it is highly authoritarian and regimented. You're promoting unity which is a value and necessitates that people believe similar things or have the same world view. That is where religion or belief comes in. Tower of babel is a good study :D

@TheBaByG I heard you, and you were very clear. I think what happens is that people with extreme views will see any moderate view as being at the opposite extreme. People who believe in their religion will hear you saying that it doesn't (or shouldn't) matter what religion they have as the more extreme position that you don't care about religion at all. It is difficult steering toward the middle with extremists all around.

The truth needs no religion. It can stand on its own. I like to use the RFID chip as an example. You don't have to be a Christian or talk about a 'mark of the beast' to understand that chipping people is a fucked up idea.

much food for thought here. i am like you, i dont give a hoot what a persons religious beliefs are, that is a very personal and internal decision. about mirroring, i tend to mirror only if i for some reason cant vlog, in a hurry, whatever, and I do agree that it can detract from the original video. point well taken.

You sound intelligent and you are half way there! You are figuring out a lot on your own. Definitions are important and I define 'theist' as someone who 'believes' in a god or gods of any kind. If you are NOT SURE then that means you 'DO NOT' believe which make you an A-theist. You are either 'positive' that there is a god or not. god would not accept, "I kinda think there is a god". Correct? That won't get someone to heaven.
BTW I am a very happy Freedom loving, confident, ATHEIST!

I understand that the term people would use on me is agnostic. Maybe sometimes they would use agnostic atheist.
Me, I just said agnostic instead of explaining how I really feel, but to let people know I don't believe in a God. Maybe one day I will talk about my views on religion in a video, but so far, I feel this vid is a good indication of why I shouldn't .
However, I am not an atheist. Nor really an agnostic neither. I hope that is OK..?

I think the truth movement started out as 9/11 Truth. I was down with that. then other conspiracies were added like FEMA camps. that wasn't be accident. there was talk that AJ was a disinfo agent, but he was the only one to spread the truth about 9/11 because he had the money. people then started repeating his stuff. 9/11 Truth is now believing in every wacky conspiracy. People talk about it because even if you don't believe dealing with everyone else believing can be a considerable portion of your life.
