I'd recommend you to get right back to it! It was my fingers rather than my thumbs that hurt, but you get used to it and after a while you dont notice it anymore :)

well..its simply like this:

C = A, D, B and G string (start with A of course)

G/B = A, D, B and G string

Am7 = A D B and G string

G/B = A D E B G and B string
