this is NOT this birds 1st clicker training! it takes weeks to train a bird with a clicker!

He has Brain Damage. It may take 3 clicks for it to register with him. Thats very impressive and Im happy that he got a chance!

You use a lot of clicks. But why? Thats wrong! Only one click, if you want to jackpot him, use more treats, but no double or triple click

What the? You don't have to click 3 times you know, only click one time, and learn your bird one trick at a time, or it gets Confused. And trust me, theres is nothing worse then a confused bird lol :D

@miloteksi I see those perches in our local large birds-only store (Magnolia bird farm). They are on-line, too.

talk to it not at it..its not a baby..you can use your normal voice you know..

Her "baby talking" seems to be working just fine:)

And animals can pick up on the 'happy voice", so maybe it is better that way after all?

what an honorable thing u r training him for. my husband and i have been comforting a friend as she has been watching her 2 year old die of a brain tumor. so many sick kids are out there who will benefit greatly from interacting or watching your new friend. thank you.
