Gran Turisimo was awesome! for some reason when i played this when i was 7 or 8, the viper just was my favorite car i loved it!

He didn't drive in this one. This is the demo movie you see in the Replay Theater.

Speaking of the laps... XLHGladiator - what were the laps times? Was this with a completely stock Viper? No parts? No tires? I'll give it a try if you respond with the race conditions. ;-)

Alright, using a 100% stock Viper GTS (same color scheme), I ran:

1st lap - 1:57.673

2nd lap - 1:50.817

Total - 3:48.490

I think the times will be close if XLHGladiator posts his times for the run. If need be, I'll post my replay with the telemetry graphics visible. ;-)

I used a whol normal Viper (nothing upgraded) just exactly like i was doing the last Licence test. This isn't my best time after all, my personal best was when I got the gold trophy in the final licence test not once but many times, so i don't remember exactly the time. I have to search for the momory card, and the game in this room to make sure of my record.

the laps you see here are just a show of, i wasn't aiming for anything. just a clean drive with many slides.

I know the Viper in License Test IA-8 is faster than the stock Viper you can buy. My best "start lap" with the stock Viper was 1:57.673, while my best time in License Test IA-8 was 1:53.345. More than a 4 second difference and my driving wasn't THAT much better back then in GT1. Do you know your time for License Test IA-8? I like comparing times with other drivers, as you might have guessed. ;-)

As i said earlier i will post my records when i find the game and the memory card.

I bet it wasn't the best ever, i'm not only focusing on racing games. I play many other different games styles so in that case you can tell that i'm not the best in all of them.

Doesn't matter - I just like to see other people's replays and compare times. I took about 30 minutes to get the Viper time the other night. There's plenty of time left to shave off. Just a fun thing to do when bored. ;-)
