@4demon9 Actually, what you're hearing is the echo on the piano. The echo was turned up much louder than the original sound. If you listen to Crown of Love you can hear the same thing. It's kinda distracting but it isn't the worst thing ever.
@jagger1001 It seems that Win won't give up his vintage ElectroVoice EV 664, even for one song. LOL! Yeh, I'm an old concert sound guy from the '60s & '70s.
@TheAutonomiser Yep. It looks like you're correct. I found a close up photo, but I think it's a 58 with a beta 57 windscreen. You can see the number 58 in the photo.
why do the R+L guys always get the songs wrong, dont really care they could fart in my face when this is on and i would still enjoy it, so glad i was present at this!
why the hell for the past few songs has it had the incorrect songs come up, dont care really they could fart in my face and id still enjoy it, so glad i was present!
Guys, I'm not crazy, but this performance reminds me of U2 when they used to be good, specifically when "Sunday Bloody Sunday" came out. This video reminds me of that U2 music video. I think it's because of the same genuine energy in the songs.
@NoelKilledZombie the only thing that is out of sync is the piano it's really annoying she plays it faster and slower every time think she doesn't know how to play it once speed or something. but as you said it is a great performance
@gogolplex74 they're postcards. This song is inspired by the notion that no-one takes the time to write letters anymore and everything must be fast and immediate. We Used To Wait... now we're too impatient.
Regines timing isn't out. I think it's the echo perhaps? Or the amp? But you can hear this delay quite a bit on "The Suburbs" and "Crown of Love". Saturday at Reading is my highlight of my year so far!
@ArcadeFireTube2 no its cos they've got this delay on the piano- you can hear it thoughout the whole gig. It must be pretty offputting to Regine or anyone who plays the piano
@basketcase5295 The Suburbs and Crown of Love have similar problems. I'm guessing it's because the microphone is recording the initial sound as well as the echo. Since the echo will take slightly longer to reach to microphone it will make it sound like the notes are doubled.
Why are the people trying to clap along with the piano intro?

The only thing bugging me is the drums and piano being out of sync. Other than that, amazing as usual.

Such power; such brilliance. Such unique, raw, unmatched musical exploration, in sound and lyric. Just breathtaking.
