It is nothing like Starcraft 2 except that they are both within the RTS genre.

@1234567az4 the scale of supcom & FA is so much bigger than in Supcom 2... not to mention they took out the entire economic game, most of the units, and a lot of features that made supcom & FA what it is. if you didn't like FA then you dont like REAL rts. someone once said that supcom was the first REAL rts, all the rest were simply real time tactics. a lot of the features that made FA so unique were taken out in supcom 2. supcom 2 ruined a good franchise in my eyes.

What PC specs do you have? I am interested in how good a CPU you need to be able to handle those large scale wars. Recommended system requirements are retarded for a game like this. They should at least have a third system requirement which states how well you can play 4v4 maps in a late game with full unit cap and all that shit.

@BrokenBjartur I have a 3 Ghz Core I 7 Overclocked to 3,7 Ghz , it can handle 4vs4 fine. The Video is a 4vs4 game, there where some simspeed drops in the game because of the amount of units in battles.

@BrokenBjartur I was actually a part of this battle, I was the Cybran commander with all the freakin battleships. I played the game on my laptop which has a 2.40 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 6 GB RAM. It worked fine. The game slowed down at points especially with all the nukes going off. I think the grand total for nukes launched this game was over 90. I don't remember really, its been a long while. Great game though, and I suggest it to anyone.

@BrokenBjartur the Cpu have an effekt on the slow down, a low clocked Dual core or Quad core will slow the game down with lot's a unit's active on the battlefield.
