  • I have a Stahlhelm from WW2, but some one painted it in different colours after the war to show they were against the Nazies. I wondered if these helmets is rare. I'm going to paint it in the original colour. Sorry for my bad english...

  • I think the most valuable one would be the ss helmet, but only with a bullet hole in it and a bulge on the other side

  • Fucking awesome.

  • I have always said that TouTube is one of the best things that has happened for us as Collector's .......

It give us a chance to share what we like to do with other's ...... Thanks for Sharing !!!! .... V V

  • I would have a heart attack if I walked into that room...........I have been a ww2 history buff since I was like ten, you are a lucky man my friend

  • 13:03 you dont waste our time :D

  • you done screwed up by putting that stuff on the leather...you should have left it alone...but other than that you got some nice helmets by dont go putting varnish all over the shells trying to "preserve" them...just leave them alone...

  • how come you guys get to have rain, i mowed my lawn last time 6 weeks ago, and it hasnt rained very much at all, only 3 times and the longest time was fro 15 mins, my lawn is dieing and im on a watertank to i cant just water it! (#southlander problems)

  • Wonderful summation, Ted! Couldn't have done it better myself. All you need now is one of the somewhat mythical M45 stahlhelms.

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent new channel Ted. I imagine there hideously expensive and like rocking horse shit but whats the likelyhood of getting a FG42 nowadays? that was a incredibly interesting weapon that was quite innovative for its time

  • i hate them stupid people that would click on a video, oh lets say "WW2 German Stahlhelm" and then complain about seeing swastikas. they kinda go with the whole WW2 theme dont they. any ways nice helmets ted. cant wait to see what you get next. maybe someday ill share the nazi things i got. who knows. thanks for sharing

  • Man. If those helmets could talk....You wonder what stories they would tell

  • @klampton317 I often think of this when I pop off a few rounds with my 1917 No. 1 MK III Lee Enfield...

  • @nzww2buff Ted! Brother! The effort, the quality, the time that you put in these videos... Impressive! I cannot thank you enough... I just saw the machine gun videos... WOW! You and your friends are putting and ADDICTIVE product... Thank you again Ted. I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO THUMB UP THE VIDEOS TO ENCOURAGE MORE VIDEOS. Thank you.

  • The Theory of MG fire.. Loving the channel Ted.

  • Another fantastic video. Very interesting. Makes me want to pick up a German helmet. I've got my WWI Brodie helmet so far.

  • the black flag i belive is an ss (shütchenstaffel) flag. the black color may indicate that it has been an hung on the radio antenna on an ss-panzer

  • "knowledge is power "

  • 1:58, oh lord... may you be protected from the naysayers....

  • "This is going to be a short little 5 min video" playe time 14:13 lol terrific!

  • @Oblio1942 Yeah, I know...I got carried away....again..

  • Yeez, I have just spent 375 AUD for a pair of R.M. Williams boots, and I can wear them in public...

But love the collection, it beats the shait out of mine !!

  • Holy makrell !!

  • Piss off to anyone that does not want to learn about modern history--political correctness will kill us all. It is amazing how much this stuff costs. I am not a ww2 collector but find your vids very interesting. The only ww2 stuff I own would be a couple of weapons: MG 34 8mm, Browning M2hb 50 BMG and Browning M3hb 50 BMG aircraft barrel and heavy barrel.

    Thanks for your efforts.

  • @MrM2hb The 'ONLY' stuff you own?!!! That's pretty hard-core, Mate!

  • @nzww2buff Compared to your fine collection--lol But yes, I am ready for the Zombie apocalypse about on par with every other American--lol.

  • @MrM2hb

    Zombie Apocalypse-----see NTP

Interesting in its own right.......I guess

    Please leave the Historians be.

  • @vandoo66 Just re-read! Got the Nut part First --figures!

  • Good stuff Ted thanks for sharing

  • cool stuff ted ,is the sharks teeth panel on the left of the ss flag off an airplane ? by chance

  • @AndrewMay100 It's a copy of the P-38 Kittyhawk 'teeth'.

  • Some units in '39 did use the WW1 M17/M18 helmets.

  • i was half waiting for you to pull out one with a 30 cal hole in it and make the comment, that they arent incredibly bulletproof

  • You need to find a 1st model M36 Fallschirmjägerhelm.

  • Use Renaissance Wax on the leather. It's PH neutral. All Museums use this product.

PRO TIP: smell the the helmet. does it smell like fresh paint?

I bought my Fallschirmjäger M38 (with Normandy pattern zimmerit, liner + spanner bolts are gone) from my good friend in Belgium. Helmet was found in belgium. I payed $860. He goes on relic digging trips (legally) with his pals all the time.

  • @ColCustardChucker Thanks. I'm using a kind of leather 'moisturiser', but I'll grab some of that stuff.

  • Very interesting lecture Ted.

  • Excellent. Great stuff once again.

  • Good video, I didn't realize how expensive German helmets were. Can't wait to see the machine gun video.

  • If people get offended then they can piss off and watch the Bambi channel. It is a part off history, and given the plethora of items on display it is well within context. Good video as usual.

  • thanks for sharing

  • That is one top notch collection you have.

Thanks so much for sharing your acquisitions.
