But the First Saviour, Ushedar could well have been the Saviour the 3 Magis were in their quest to find. He was to have failed and gotten killed, much like Jesus.

Thanks for postin this wonderful video. the celebration of winter solistice among us zoroastrians was a celebration of the triumph of light against darkness and gloom. while the whole cold winter still lies ahead, the longest and darkiest night has passed. light is increasing little by little everyday and eternal spring is at hand.

The northern European or Germanic Christmas originate out of fear of evil spirits and demons who lurked in the dark forests of winter. The bravest of each village would show defiance to these spirits by going out into the forest and cutting down a massive tree, one that would at least burn for 12 days. They would save the top of the tree and set it up and decorate it with offings to appease the spirits. This 12 day celebration became the 12 days of Christmas as Christianity swept across Europe
