I vote John Carpenter for a Dead Space movie, he's the one who wouldn't tone down the gore and make it PG-13 just so you can get a bunch of kids seeing it. Besides, he's already done the Thing, which helped inspire Dead Space by the way, so he'd have some great experience to bring to the table.

Wes Craven is good and I'm playing the game since I only really been playing Bishock and Assassin's Creed. My 3 year old actually got scared but he can watch The Host.

I believe they are going to have alternite versions. But I already figure out what the story's about but many another ppl haven't. Can't wait for the Bioshock movie I heard they're trying to get Tom Cruise to play as Jack.

You want Ridley Scott, John Carpenter, James Cameron, people who know and have done Sci/Fi correctly. And the simple fact that Dead Space is inspired by Alien, Aliens and The Thing 82. Without those directors and their skills there would be no Dead Space.
