Well, I think between them they would have been able to speak very good English(they were considered to be quite bright people, you forget). However, the accents...
@Dvon5000 I don't have many friends with the same interests. I have watched this video approximately a 100 times. I find it funny every single time!.I am looking forward to more humour of this sort :D
I was actually more of what you might call a dismissive atheist in high school; I tuned out anything "religious," believed it was irrelevant, beneath my interest.
The books I read and the classes I took at my "leftist" college challenged this attitude. It occurred to me that my own unquestioned faith in secular democracy could be considered a religious belief.
In college I learned to appreciate religious thought, Judeo-Christian and otherwise.
The "Destroyers" are of course the evil men in black suits and sunglasses. Kafka, Marx, Plato, and even Rand are all great writers in their own way, IMO.
rofl "the means of production will be held by like six people!"
The only thing is, that is not even remotely how Kafka would act. But for the purposes of this film, which are obviously sardonic but serious, it works. Well done!
A great idea... and cute. I loved the trashy magazine part. LOL I'm not sure that those are the writers/thinkers that I would have chosen to destroy if I were an evil guy, but hey! Kafka was adorable. That's the stuff people like me find entertaining. Aside from the name-calling it would even be kid friendly!
I'm not sure why they chose those authors/thinkers, either, but the part where Kafka appears and is under arrest for no reason he knows of made me think of "The Trial.
"The means of production will be held by like... six people!" lol Karl Marx would have made an awesome comedic action-hero. Like Jackie Chan with one-liners. Sequel!!!
I'll consider it! Glad you liked Marx, he's my favorite, too; Harry ad-libbed most of his lines! Anyway, thanks for the subscription! And thanks for not being a spam-commenter, I've been getting a lot of those lately.
That's the most intelligent and funny thing I've ever witnessed on youtube! And, dude, Kafka is hot...But I still wish they had destroyed Ayn Rand, if that's indeed who was next on the list...
Genius! I adore Kafka <3

Why does Karl Marx have an eastern european accent? Also i hope they get around to getting Rand crossed off the list.

Completely legitimate question. He doesn't quite know either.

pretty damn good allthough it seems a bit dark in some places perhaps you shouldn't have tried to go for such a high contrast with a digital camera.

Fun. I liked it. "...the means of production will be held by, like, SIX people" - "Where's your Means of Production NOW, BITCH!"

They should have given Freud a stache.
