Crash Warped was a huge improvement over the first 2! You got more moves as you fought each boss, time trials, all that good stuff! You have more of an advantage to make it through each level with these moves and more of an advantage during time trials and gem collecting!
Honestly i must agree with navgtr. While Crash Bandicoot: Warped is fun, it does seem to lack something that doesn't in Crash Bandicoot 2...I'm just not sure what it is yet....
Sadly, there is so little difference between 2 and 3 I wouldn't even recommend buying one if you have the other, but I would choose 2 over 3 because it does have better mechanics. There are things about 3 that make it a good game, such as riding various vehicles, but they'll re-use level designs (I.E. medieval level) 2 or 3 times, not including the secret levels. Crash 4 for the newer consoles is more of the same but at least it has more varied levels and better graphics to look forward to.
Crash 4 sucked, yes, but it did have improved graphics. I've played the game all the way through but like I said, it's just more of the same concept that gets stale sometimes. Regading controls, they were a bit loose in some areas that involved vehicles but the entire game didn't have bad controls.
I hated that level personally, I wish it had more of what Crash 2 did. Especially the parts where you burrowed, that was an interesting aspect we'll never see again. If they'd have let us jump and run more in a jump-and-run game that'd have been nice.

Crash Warped was a huge improvement over the first 2! You got more moves as you fought each boss, time trials, all that good stuff! You have more of an advantage to make it through each level with these moves and more of an advantage during time trials and gem collecting!

Honestly i must agree with navgtr. While Crash Bandicoot: Warped is fun, it does seem to lack something that doesn't in Crash Bandicoot 2...I'm just not sure what it is yet....

Actually there is quite a bit of difference between Crash Bandicoot 2 and 3.
Time Trials
Unlockable powerups
More veichles
etc
This is an awesome game and this review is bollocks.

Sadly, there is so little difference between 2 and 3 I wouldn't even recommend buying one if you have the other, but I would choose 2 over 3 because it does have better mechanics. There are things about 3 that make it a good game, such as riding various vehicles, but they'll re-use level designs (I.E. medieval level) 2 or 3 times, not including the secret levels. Crash 4 for the newer consoles is more of the same but at least it has more varied levels and better graphics to look forward to.

Crash 4 sucked, yes, but it did have improved graphics. I've played the game all the way through but like I said, it's just more of the same concept that gets stale sometimes. Regading controls, they were a bit loose in some areas that involved vehicles but the entire game didn't have bad controls.

@KazeLynn but there was that one level in Crash 4, if they had more like it, the game on the whole may have been very good.
I'm referring of course to level 5, the one on the bamboo rollercoaster in the giant hamster ball.

I hated that level personally, I wish it had more of what Crash 2 did. Especially the parts where you burrowed, that was an interesting aspect we'll never see again. If they'd have let us jump and run more in a jump-and-run game that'd have been nice.
