and the "gas" on the down shift is not automatic.. its up to the driver to "blip" the throttle to match revs..

GT3 cup is rear engine/ rear drive 415hp / 299ft/lb + redline 8400rpm engine.. GT3 RS street car has same engine with H- Pattern gearbox

Turbo Porsche has AWD save for GT2 variant.

Sequential transmission dog box = not using clutch on upshift or downshift.. you blip to match revs... clutch gets you out of the pits...

the RSR is more for 24 hour races.

more power, wider lower faster. better aerodynamics. but still just working as hard or maybe harder then in a 997 ( super ) Cup.

It has a sequential straight cut gearbox. Production GT3 come with 6 speed manual. It is not a regular Porsche GT3. It must be a competition racing GT3.

I'm a bit confused... This is a simulation of driving on the track, right? I guess I am just wondering why they did this without any cooling for the car... maybe there is some but I didn't see. Anyone care to enlighten me?

its a race car. the GT3 cup is a spec race series. that car doesnt even have a VIN number. it will never see the street.

Regular GT3 come with AC and regular gearbox. Look at the dash - it's non standard also. This is a cup car - stripped for racing.

I would like to have seen more revs as well. Like to see what the actual RWHP of a Cup car would be. Must have been checking the mid-range of that particular tune.
