You have to go to View (from the top menu in Astro), then Directory Options, then check the box that says Show Hidden Files.....did you hear that Mitch?
So no-one knows how to recover the folder once its disappeared???? This guy posted the vid & hasn't offered any help on recovery either huh? Wow, now my folder is gone...
@FootFinger13 Rename your folder again. For example, in this video, he renamed Random to .Random right? To make it appear again, you go back to your File Manager app, and then you rename it from .Random to Random and it's done :)
Thanks. One thing to consider, if the name of the file has more than one word make sure there isn't a space between the words, otherwise it will NOT hide the folder.
Alternatively, you can place a file named ".nomedia" in the folder and it won't show up in the gallery. This works for application support folders which you cannot safely rename, but contain images. For example, the ESPN Scorecenter app writes a bunch of team logo images to /sdcard/com.espn.score_center. Placing ".nomedia" in this folder hides images from it and all subfolders.
can you hide any video?????????????

Or you can use the "Hide My Stuff" app from android market , you don't even need to root your phone.
