THW WIZ is the same story, w/ an all black cast, directed by the amazing/eccentric Geoffery Holder (sic)! Very tiny differences. Story is same, just switched around. Songs are different, but enchaniting could be done by any color cast, really, but music is more soul than traditional, Broadway, so...! Was a great show, but awful film with Michael Jackson, when he was still normal and black and a much too old Diana Ross. Bad, bad film. Original will always be best, but this was great!
