I own every Sacred Harp CD I have been able to find. Here, just as among my CDs, it's the singers in Western Massachusetts who seem to always have the most amazing combination of massiveness and tunefulness. Everyone seemed to be in the same key and not singing either flat or sharp; couldn't hear any screeching or bellowing show-offs; no one part was drowning out the others. (Now you know what it is that I simply cannot abide.)
