there is alot of IDIOTS here in Boston and do not listen to the agents. It so simple bring your money and pay your fare. Otherwise you will be in a mess of trouble with the transit police. i have seen a passenger get kicked out for bad mouthing the driver and refusing to pay his fare.
As a bus driver myself I deal with sh$t like this everyday. That driver should not have held that customer hostage though. She could get fired for doing so or at least written up. Plus the cops could give her a ticket or arrest her! I can honestly say that driving a bus for the past 13 years has turned me into a misantrope. Its got to be one of the worst jobs in the world. I remember once when I was little, I was riding the bus. I said I wanted to be a bus driver. Not to sure if it was the same day but there was some argument between a passenger and the driver on the 116/117. I remember it escalated to the point where the passenger threw a glass bottle at the driver. After that the bus went out of service. I should mention that this was at Wonderland station in Revere and the bus driver went directly to the police station across the street from Wonderland.
Some asshole and his bitch tried to scam their way onto a bus yesterday(#64). He and his bitch put in 60 cents, with no student card, and proceeded to cause a huge scene when the driver rightfully decided not to take them anywhere. The kid was being a little snotnosed punk. If I wasn't a responsible adult, I would have laid his ass out on the pavement with one falcon punch. That woulda been good!
who needs a stupid passenger on any kind of transportation not willing to respect to people. One of the passengers refused to pay his fare so what could the driver do is to say to the passenger to get off the bus or the driver will call the police
I have been driving a bus for the T for 18 yrs. this is mild compared to some of the crap i have had to deal with..But I did love the passengers holding the front door shut, that was great.....good job passengers
@mangosox9589 Well, luckily, I have never seen things like this personally. I've been riding these buses for over 1 1/2 years and there has not been any trouble. Luckily I've never personally seen trouble in progress.
