im in the middle of a social services attack on my family done through the courts all based on lies. the first thing they did was knock up a document forbidding me talking about this online. their whole case is built on the lie's of a woman who's whole family have serious mental issue's. Unfortunately these comment boxes are small. Last point: Why don't you ask the child if having a CAFCASS worker made a difference and helped them to represent themselves? Thats the main thing that matters.

And can I lastly add, I have no affiliation to CAFCASS whatsoever. So 'people' (I'm guessing thats you) will not 'champion against' me. An all inclusive and holistic approach to improvement of society is the oxygen of change. Pure criticism achieves nothing. Do something to make a difference.

I'm sure 99% of what social workers achieve is positive... only the media and campaign groups such as yourselves don't care for the positive news, only the news that means a good old moan. I find this appalling and vile. Its so simple to attack a social authority as they have no real defence due to the laws and policies they are governed by. What you are saying in this video is a foundation of lies, building up to only bigger lies and distortions of the truth.

A local authority is expected to be competent.

Your argument seems to be that they should NOT be inspected.

And that OFSTED have no right to put them to task for systemic FAILURE.

The 2009 report found that Cafcass had made progress in 9/10 recommendations. And I wasn't saying OFSTED tell lies. I am 100% pro external auditing. The whole reason for an external audit is to pick up on errors and give an un-biased report on an organisation.

Granted, when I made my last comment I was overwhelmed by frustration and I apoligise for saying this video is built on lies. But I still strongly disagree with the way you are portraying CAFCASS as a completely incompetent authority.

@UKSecretCourts The whole point of CAFCASS is to put children first. You're problem lies with the processes of record keeping, not with how CAFCASS social workers apply their practice. I understand the importance of maintaining records and ensuring processes are efficient. Im sure 99.9% of social workers would give an arm and a leg to live in an ideal world where there were no shortages of staff, processes ran smoothly on initial set up and paperwork was reduced to an appropriate level.

I was taken to court and an opportunity for a man with a violent CRB and a low IQ got custody of a sick child. He previously never supported or worked due to drink related epilepsy .The facts validate my reason for not continuing the relationship like any normal person . However the Courts back up everyone and collude in secret court the errors of the pack mentality when things go terribly wrong. Lessons are NOT LEARNT.

Ask a cafcass officer what's in a child's best interest and they will say " contact with an abusive parent" and "no contact with a good parent".
