the first movie will always be my favorite, as kid, it was pretty profound when Charlie had to choose between saving Anne Marie and going to Hell, or saving himself and the watch to get into Heaven. Judith Barsi, the actress who voiced Anne Marie was murdered shortly after production for this movie was finished. By her own father no less. I wonder if it was such a bad idea to do so. After all, we see what became of all these other child actors/actresses (Maculay Culkin, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, the Olsen Twins, etc.), and I starting to think her father actually did her a favor. But that's just me. LOL
