that's not a muzzle brake, just google muzzle break and you will see how they look like ;)

muzzle brakes don't have to have holes in them. This one is just plain and can be changed out with a fancy one.

Muzzle brakes and recoil compensators are devices that are fitted to the muzzle of a firearm or cannon to redirect propellant gases with the effect of countering both recoil of the gun and unwanted rising of the barrel during rapid fire. the effect while using it on a airgun is very limited and so mostly used for fancy looking. (replica's) Muzzle brakes always have holes, that's the whole idea of muzzle brakes. The thing on your airgun is probably weight or an extencion for easier cocking

I"ve seen a break barrel rifle on a site, but it uses shells, does it shoot the shells or, does it uses the shells as a loader?

I got mine at MC Sports.

(great gun)and i recommend you using gold plated pellets, as they go 1350 fps on that gun (faster than the speed of sound, but it's a lot louder.)

hey which pellets would you reccomend more the Mangums or the Premiers??? like whats more accurate and better for hunting???

The Crosman Premier hollowpoints are more accurate and better for hunting than the Gamo Magnums besides Gamo has poor quality control on there pellets. I bought 10 containers of Gamo and all the skirts were deformed. It was 30 dollars so I was quite pissed. Premiers perform very well in most guns especially the Crosman break barrels.

its a MuzzleBrake to reduce noise and recoil from the shot.
