Great video! I think you must be in Kirkcolm in the Scottish Borders? I have seen some tremendous wild life activity in the Borders myself. I was taking part in some broadcasting tests in Kirk Yetholm some years ago and we were entertained by boxing Hares within a few yards of our outside broadcast vehicles - even though a noisy diesel engined portable electricity generator was roaring away. Love (or the possibility) conquers all eh? Thanks for the video.
Hares-one of my favourite animals..so beautiful.Once was walking with my Lurcher and Son's Whippet and I saw a wise old Hare lying stock still just a few feet away..had the hare bolted, it would have been bad, but luckily he kept his nerve, and I put the dogs on leads.[I love hares far too much to want to see them chased or killed]
That is so funny! Never seen anything like that! I can really see where that old English expression "Mad as a March Hare" comes from! They are hilarous!
Wow, amazing. They're something alright. I've never seen hares in person but I see there's a big difference from rabbits, which I have seen in person.
It's really neat how they jump on top of each other to avoid getting hit. Animals are athletes, that's for sure.

You just WANT to overdub a lot of swearing in what one would think to be rabbit voices.

They look cute doing this, though I realize it's not in fun. The fur was flying, literally!

A few years back I happened to look over a field gate and saw a pair of hares boxing - a magic moment!

Brilliant clip, that's a great sight.
The volume of blows traded toe to toe puts human boxing to shame!
