This is excellent instruction. Notice how the family practices even the crawling procedure. I would add that the escape ladder should be practiced with from each of the windows that a family member may have to exit. Not all windows can support a fire ladder. Also, if you do not have a fire ladder in every bedroom of the upstairs, then you must discuss other ways to move through the house if there is a fire and make sure there is a form of communication in each room; cell phone or land line.
