@DJAnime3311556 When I watched that the second time around, I realized something. They dropped a *small* clue to the actual situation by having Conan say to Haibara "what's the matter? Something wrong with Doctor Arade?" Just before Jodi steps out from behind him.

Aoyama seems to like having a false answer shoved right up in your face. The sooner you realize this, the better chance you have of reaching the right answer before the reveal. He always drops small hints for the real answer though.

@42jemini yes, you're right. just like he made us believe that Jodie was the evil one at first, by making Haibara scared of her (remember that bus scene?) when really, she was sensing vermouth in disguise. i bet there is more, so we should always be careful about what he's presenting ;-)

@DJAnime3311556 Actually, with the more recent one with Burbon (who is pretty much a Vermouth repeat), he drops a much bigger clue to what is really going on. However, you have to have to know at least a little Japanese in order to pick it up.

Only thing I can say is that he must have been disappointed so few people figured out Vermouth in order to have given a clue this big. But then, the clue will be completely lost if it is dubbed in any other language than Japanese, so I don't know.
