  • What song is playing in this?

  • @clewis0731 I believe it's music from the 1987 film THE UNTOUCHABLES. At least that's where I recognize it from.

  • This movie has the film noir visual look of "Sin City" mixed with the campy and over-the-top scripting from "Batman & Robin."

  • Did The Spirit die in the movie?

  • Nope, he lives.

  • I would know that by now, man.

  • this movie is visually beuatiful and the score is amazing but the script is as you exspect like a comic and it has no story but i adorn it

  • @Halleberryismine adorn it with what?

  • lol sorry i ment to write adore the moive meanig love it

  • Man, where is this specific version of this song "On The Rooftops" for download?

  • It's Ennio Morricone's Theme for the Untouchables film.

Strength of the Righteous, I think it's called.

  • look for 'a tribute to brian de palma' on youtube and rip the music from that.

  • How can it be both your mother AND your lover?! That's nasty... I know you have a thing for women but...

God, this is the worst line I ever heard in a teaser, making it the worst teaser I have ever seen...

  • Dude, he is talking about his city not his mother.you stupid?

  • I know... but it sounds nasty... would you call something both your mother AND lover?

  • if its something ,yes you can,bu no if its someone. unless its a fuckdoll :O

  • You would if you were Oedipus.

  • Esta pelicula me decepcionó bastante.

    This movie was disappointing

  • what? oh no...this music isn't original? it rocks in the trailer, too bad it's plagirisum.

  • No its not really plagiairism because they didn't try to pass off the music as theyre own original work, trailers use different songs from different movies all the time, as long as they buy the rights to use it

  • what is the name of the song in the beginning. I know it's in the untouchables and I like this song.

  • It's called "The Untouchables," by Ennio Morricone.

  • what the f*ck is wrong with Miller??

why did he have to shit all over Eisner's work??

    Miller, you peanut

  • i like the look of this movie, the guys got a great voice too

  • the music is the main theme from the untouchables

  • Ah you're right, thanks for that!

  • no worries, love the music!

  • Awesome looking movie, on a side note

Anyone know the name of this song or where the song was taken from?

  • I'm thinking it might be score written for it - i LOVE this music though.

  • i think itll be interesting...

but yes he did seem...not so agile...

    lol

  • the comics of this suck... but the way the trailer looked... with all the fake looking jumps and shit looks fucking awsome

  • Rage... building...

  • don't do it man. his idiocy ain't worth murder.

  • fuck you all, this movie will be the bomb!

  • looks retarded

  • talk about the use of wires, looked like crouching tiger hidden dragon running along the roof, random

  • when i first saw him he looked more like he could be a hero called "The Businessman" instead of The Spirit

  • Sam L plays the villain in this!

  • dude u can tell from now this movie is gonna have some weiirrd camera angles and shit

  • it looked pretty awesome but the jumps didn't not look that good.

  • yeah he looked a bit clumsy jumping around

  • It's probably supposed to look like that. If the trailer is any indication, the movie will be very stylized.

  • I'm sorry to say this, but as impressive as the visuals and the dialogue are, it just doesn't feel enough like Will Eisner's vision to feel right.

  • This looks...okay, but I did like the use of The Untouchables theme and the fact that they used the term "comic book" instead of "graphic novel".

  • augh.....whatta load of garbage. why, since the mid ninteies, has frank miller had the psychotic compulsion to turn every character he writes into frickin' Sin City characters....all-star batman's marv in a cape, the spirit looks n sounds like dwight stumbling over roof-tops...

    big disappointment

  • It doesn't look too bad. But I would have preferred maybe a New Frontier styled Darwyn Cooke's revival of the Spirit instead.

  • I would have preferred Cooke's version too, rather than a Sin City remix. What happened to Central City? It's screaming because Miller took all the color out.

  • Wow...I know its from Frank Miller and all but I wish they didn't do the EXACT same thing as Sin City. Its kind of underwhelming.

It looks like Sin City 2

  • yeah, although tbh it just seems like a rip of Sin City, not a sequel, despite Frank Miller being behind it.

  • that sort of cheesy dialogue is just the sort of thing Eisner would make fun of! Why do you hate quality Miller?

  • Couldn't say it better myself.

  • Good god, that looks awful. I guess if you actually liked Sin City AND never read the original spirit comics, which looked and felt nothing like that, you could probably enjoy it.

  • Sin City did not invent noir. And also, I've read the Spirit...Sin City was just a more violent version of it, and part of Frank Miller's influence.

  • My city screams

    She is my lover

    And I am her SPIRIT

    CANT WAIT!!!!!

  • Hot damn! Can't wait!

  • awesome

  • Pile of arse!

  • damn!

  • Is nice, but dont show what he can...
