  • so that's where ky jelly comes from

  • Natural Ganglia Cure

    watch?v=lD612au5th8

  • wow, different cysts have different filings. sebaceous are disgusting, but ganglion has hair gel

  • i removed it it came back doc used syringe method i am thinking to try this method at home :P

  • a mom got a ganglion cyst i need some hair gell lol

  • OMG! how come it is clear jelly and no blood in it.

  • Wat the fuck are you talking about troll?

  • Best part starts at 0:32

  • lancing the cyst will work, as you did. Acupuncture is quackery though.

  • @brxbrx1 what an ignorant statement. acupuncture has been around for 1000's of years. if there was nothing behind it, it would have died out a long long time ago. idiot.

  • @8bitArtist

1 Slavery has been around for even longer than acupuncture. Where does that put your reasoning?

2 There is no evidence that there is such a thing as meridian lines/acupoints, chi or jing, and no evidence of yin and yang. Studies have consistently shown that any therapeutic effects of acupuncture either stem from the placebo effect or the release of endorphins, not from hocus-pocus magic energy manipulation. And even then, the effect is dwarfed by actual medicine.

  • @brxbrx1 you just compared slavery to acupuncture. hahaha. jesus. hey, keep taking those pills that cause more side effects than they "cure".

  • @8bitArtist

Don't be obtuse. I merely exposed your "it's old so it must be good" reasoning for the fallacy that it is.

  • @brxbrx1 i didnt say "its old it must be good". i merely stated the fact that its been around for awhile and if it didnt work for people, it would have faded out. do you see people drilling holes into their head like the Egyptians did anymore? theres a reason why you dont. i could easily say something negative and compare it to it being around the same time as modern western medicine but why would i as its completely different subjects and has no relevance. oh well. enough talking to the troll.

  • acupuncture? lol fuckin retard

  • haha woooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

  • I have that on my wrist in the same spot O.O

  • KIDS NOW U NO HOW HAIR GEL IS MADE

  • OOOOOOOOH!

    Best part.

  • Huh! *SPLAT* Ooooooooh!

  • it's going to come back since he ruptured the cystial sac.

  • i believe i have a bone spur or calcium deposit next to mine. Doc says if it doesn't hurt leave it alone. It does hurt though

  • "Ready? Pop! OOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

  • I have the thing on my wrist too

  • What is that stuff? Pus?

  • keep pressing :10

  • look kids, that's what they put n breast implants :D

  • Man he poked it with authority! People that wait tables and carry trays often have those...

  • Lol I used to have a ganglion.

  • now i know where hair gel comes from..

  • Ganglion cysts are boring

  • what body part is that

  • hahah they reminded me of those little green aliens from toy story! ooooohhhhh

  • i have one of these things on my foot!!! and the doctor told me to see an specialist!! fucking useless! maybe the doctor is lazy!

  • What is that clear fluid? That jelly-like consistency is so bizarre.

  • @TheAdmiral It's a type of synovial fluid, only in ganglion cysts, it's a little thicker, which accounts for the gel-like appearance. Normal synovial fluid is clear and thinner but when trapped in the ganglion sac, it becomes thicker and gel-like.

  • what is a fucking cyst?!?!?!?!?!

    -AcidKush-

  • Do ganglion cysts have fibrin loculation?

  • painful?

  • painfull?

  • My bro got one on his wrist by drumming.

  • @JonahBradwell i have 1 on my hand too and it hurts likee crazyy

  • @JonahBradwell thats how i got mine -_-

  • What causes Ganglion cysts?

  • @tenderheart17 Repetitive movement. Is what I have always been told. There not that bad. I get them on the back of my wrist all the time. You can rub and work them down over time. Also popping with a needle is a shot term fix. The best way is also the most barbaric way. Take a big book and wack that shit out of it. It breaks the wall of the cyst so it that it cant reform .

  • You could have done that to yourself easily

  • all the people there go OOOOOOO

  • oh i have one in the exact same spot, worst

  • oh fuck i'm so scared to get mine treated now :S

    hope urs heals well tho!

  • OUCH!!!

  • Lancing is a form of acupuncture. Acupuncture is any practice where a needle punctures the skin for a purpose where the needle itself is the therapeutic tool. Lancets are a common tool of the acupuncturist, myself being one.

  • sweet that means im an acupuncturist XD

  • That's not acupuncture, I think it's called lancing.

  • LOL

  • @DracoReincarnated

The poster here actually describes themself as "A professor and acupuncturist." Another proud graduate of Woo Woo University...

  • @DracoReincarnated lancing is not only a slice but often includes cutting a chuck of skin away like so: () so that what ever it was can drain, the purpose of cutting a chunk is that it takes the cut longer to heal, causing a longer drain period. army doc explained it to me when my buddy got bit by a brown recluse.

  • crap

  • that's not acupuncture

  • Lol how many people were watching this

  • @sdeforest1 as much people who watch high school golf games

  • I've had a ganglion cyst on my right wrist for 24 years. Some guy slapped my wrist while playing pick up basketball in 1985 and my cyst has come and gone numerous times ever since. It's been drained several times but always comes back. The only way to remove it permanently is via day surgery. It's close to several tendons so I'm a bit leery of having someone mess around in that area. If the doctor nicks the wrong tendon I could lose some feeling in my hand which I'm not willing to risk.

  • A ganglion cyst occurs when a nerve or tendon is bruised. To protect it the body forms a sac of jelly like fluid around the injury. Although the damage heals the sac remains, leaving you with a cyst. Sometimes the sac goes away on its own but many remain simply refill again and again after being drained and has to be surgically removed. Several of my friends who are primary care physicians say most insurance providers won't pay to have them drained after the couple of attempts.

  • haha OOOOO AHHHH

  • whats cyst?

  • Its like the stuff inside stretch armstrong

  • I have one, what causes them?

  • i heard its like a hair folical gets infected or somethin like that

  • thats an ingrown hair mate ;-) although if lest llong enough an ingrown hair can look similar

  • it looks like wall paper paste......

  • Lmao, I was about to say it looked all goooey and shit lmao.

  • oooooo aaaahhhhh lol

  • is that water ?

  • There's no acupuncture needles. That is a plain old lancet.

  • Yeah it from a blood sugar test monitor.

  • haha. the women in the background seem to be enjoying this.

  • i had 2 of these on each wrist the doctor put cortisone in them and ive not had a problem since he said RSI

  • lol its jelly

  • Looks like jelly lol

  • How the hell is this acupuncture? It's not on the same principles, it's just stabbing with a sharp thing. You may as well call it "removal with sewing" because both techniques happen to use a needle.

  • Not acupuncture - that's just plain old lancing with a lancet.

  • lol it looks like bonjela

  • why was the liquid that came out of the cyst clear? isnt it usually white?

  • yeah its puss but its just a clear puss

  • Pus is dead bacteria. Bacteria is never just clear. This is joint fluid which builds up over time in the cyst. It's not infectious at all.

  • oh ok

  • No, pus is dead white blood cells.

  • Agreed but really isn't it both?

  • It's clear because it isn't puss, it's lubricant for your joints produced by your body.

  • That can't be good...

  • Ganglion cysts (the type as mentioned in the title) are produced from fluid that exists in the joints, so it isn't pus.

  • the crowd's reaction is priceless

  • Agreed, simply EPIC :)

  • That was great. It sounded like they were watching fireworks.

  • @fionafatality Hahah right right! ewwwww ahhhhhh ewoowwowoooo ahh

  • why are there so many people in the room

  • they were students in classroom watching this demo

  • @mmarkus227 The day I was diagnosed with the retinal eye disease I have, which is difficult to diagnose unless you know exactly what it is you are looking AT and WHERE TO LOOK in order to find it, which requires major dilation of the pupil many x more than a standard eye exam, there were some 50 med students in various ocular fields of medicine who came through to view my retinas so they would know what the disease looked like & how to find & diagnose it in the future. I had a splitting migraine

  • @mmarkus227 cont'd, but if it helped even 1 of those students from misdiagnosing a patient as my personal ophthalmologist misdiagnosed me for 3+ years, then it was worth ever hour I spent with that migraine & all their returns for further viewing at each visit following. I was literally legally blind yet I drove myself to the specialist center that day. My drivers license were revoked on blindness shortly thereafter as req by law.

  • @mmarkus227 cause this shit is fuckin crazy

  • @mmarkus227 good question lol

  • i know it comes sometimes, but not all time. 3-4 times still cheaper than surgery! this works for some people but not for all.

  • Hate to tell you this but it will come back. It's caused by a tear in a tendon somewhere. So, if the leak in the tendon isn't fixed it will refill. I know. I have one on my ankle. Have to drain the darn thing pretty often. Eventually I will have it surgically repaired.

  • It's true I don't know how many times i'm smashed mine with something hard. it comes back. now thee is a methodd where you insert a lot of needles in it a different angles and tht supposedly stops it from filling up again.

  • the best thing to do is just go to the doctor and get some antibiotics that'll stop the bacteria from regrowing

  • Did that hurt? I have the same problem, but I don't know whether to get it checked out or not. Well done! Haha :)

  • lol it took me a while to figure out what body part this was.....I thought it was a baby butt 4 a little bit

  • Oooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhh

  • I have one of these in the same spot on my wrist and was told that it can be removed with an opp but there is a more thatn likely chance that it will grow back. sucks. Only worth getting removed if it is alwasy painfull.

  • thats not acupunture

  • whats that called then? it looks painless than surgery

  • its called aspiration.

  • you're right - he accurately punctured the skin. that's about as close as that was to "acupuncture" - get an education

  • did your cyst ever come back??

  • *yawn*

  • i had one on my shoulder then i went to a doctor and they told me to go for estetic surgery and pay 3k euros, but it wasnt dangerous.. so i took a knife and cut it off

  • I love the "ooooooh". I had a cyst like this but it went away.

  • how do you know if its a cyst, i think i have a cyst, but there is something hard next to it and something that feels hollow also

  • hard, movable, bouncy, maybe multi-chambered. go see a professional with experience. good luck!
