Allah made the promise to Prophet Mohamed (SAW) that he will never destroy his Ummah (people) but they will destroy one another. So surely even these earth-quacks and so called natural disasters must be man made disasters as Allah never breaks His promises. Allah knows best I could be wrong.

I think you got your facts wrong, the yajooj and majooj will emerge after armeggdon not before it. They are descended from Noah's lineage and when the people of earth are reduced they will come out from the earth and start to kill survivors and eat them.

The Hadis you quoted has no reference , I presume its all from the authentic sources but it is obligatory and logical to let every one know the root of the hadis such as Sahih Muslim Book 041, Number 6918 or Sahih Muslim Book 041, Number 6924. it doesn't take a lot of space but even if it take more space it is very much necessary to insert the citation and it is a must! why ??because any one can refer to prophet and say he said this and that but when there is a citation people can check it out.
