Not bad! Have you ever thought of using an eraser towards the finishing stages to bring out highlights? I think that technique should add further depth to your creations... Putty erasers are best because you can shape them to fine points...

my idea is that you examine the hindu gods that are part animal part human. And then draw your own creation.

Wow, beautiful elephant! :o) Don't know if you're interested - when I draw like this, I usually put a little piece of paper under my hand to help prevent smudging.
