Can the car charger and USB port power devices off of the radios battery? Or does it have to be plugged in like the outlets? I have the older CD player version and I have to plug in the radio to use the car charger and outlets. Which kind of defeats the purpose of having a ciggarete lighter port for mobile devices. I would buy the PB360S/D in a heartbeat if I could charge my iPod and phones off of the radios battery. Thanks! And great video. Very thourough and well done!
@Smorfty The antenna is pretty standard. check out Bosch's website for more info and more user reviews. cpotools.com/bosch-power-box-jobsite-radios/bosch-power-box-jobsite-radios,default,sc.html?ref=googaw&kw={keyword}&gclid=CNjRqoPi46MCFQHW5wodAHl9Yw&keyword=bosch%20radio
Isn't that a little overkill for woodworking? Wouldn't you just be better off installing a stereo or something?
