The 70's and 80's didn't really have any substance in the vast majority of music, but the 60's and 90's/early 2000's did. I am at the peak of my life, and although I enjoy the underground dance music scenes, I don't really see any originality and substance in rock music, there are a few exceptions of course but collectively...no, IMO of course

@nouprajy Offspring "started to rock" when you were born bud. I was 10 when 'Smash' was released, one of the best albums of the 90's, and the Offspring's best. Nothing they have done since even comes close to that, and never will.... and nobody should expect it to either.

Their best albums in order are: 1.Smash 2.Ignition 3.Self-titled Debut 4. ...who the hell cares. Its all singles after that point. I hated Ixnay when it first came out, but it grew on me, and I with it. Music today is shit.
