Also, the Ideal behind Open-source is that someone will take their ideas. You are a freaking retard. They literally give their ideas away for free. They advertise this! I don't even know where to start. First of all, Gates doesn't create the OS, the Windows team does. You can't just take old c code and embed it in any old operating system. The feature is only remotely similar, and even if it was stolen, they would have to fix it up. Those guys are smart enough to do it themselves. I am a heavy linux user too, but you are a retard. There is SO much more to an OS than just the shell and basic UI.
