Okay, I know this was made in all seriousness. But I will never, ever understand peoples' fixation on Sheppard's character. He was quite possibly the single most weakly written character of all!
But otherwise, it was a very well done video. I don't have to agree with content to appreciate the effort that went into its making.
Admittably at some points sheppard was a shallow character who did lack any serious depth, but he exhibited character flaws that many people can relate to and still managed to come through it all, he alswo had more depth added onto him later on, mainly due to how the series revolves (mostly) around him, as the semi-main character, he is naturally more appreciated than the others in the series.
Because he is the hero of the serie, god. He's the freaking character who saved the whole city alot of times. He made sacrifices to save others life. Just look at Search And Rescue. He goes save Teyla when he is injured. Season 1 Last episode, he goes in a Wraith Hive Ship with his jumper with a nuclear bomb. I can give you alot more. If you aren't happy that people consider him a hero in the serie, just go listen to another video, kiddo. If your a fan of Pokemon, Ash must be your hero.
The guy did everything he could to save people. At the end of the Season 5, he goes for a suicide mission to destroy the ZPM Powered Hive. He's not Superman but he remains a Hero. Look at Batman. He's a Superhero and he doesn't save people. He catch the criminals. John Sheppard saved people. At the risk of his life. Season 4, Quarantine, he climb the freaking city to help Teyla (she was pregnant) and the entire population. It doesn't revolves around him.
I always saw the guy dating Teyla and that was supposed to happen but when Rachel Luttrel got pregnant in real life, they found it too hard to explain it so they added that ugly Kanaan. All the team is in a couple. Teyla/Kanaan, Rodney/Jennifer and Ronon/Amelia Banks. We suppose that he's in love with Larrin but it's not very showed. Anyway, if it was turning around the character, Sheppard would be with someone.
That's OK. I was still relatively new at making music videos when I made this and it didn't turn out exactly the way that I wanted it to. I really think I was held back by stupid windows movie maker. But oh well!
This song goes with John Sheppard easily. I like the character.
