  • love the tutorials but the background music keeps distracting me...i have to re-watch the video several times to understand what your saying

  • When i upload the vsq file there is nothinh that pops up after I klicked on it, only a sign saying ?????????.... and the only thing I can press is okey xD whats wrong with it?

  • I need help...

When I export my UST into a WAV file, when I open it up on audacity to edit it, it only has the first 22 seconds of the UST and no more. D:

  • It's a little hard to hear you or anything you're UTAU is singing with the background music x-x sorry, it may be just me but... yeah

  • Um hi, I need some help. I loaded my VSQ, but nothing comes up, HELP!!

  • @Darkindian1 Did you choose the correct track on the VSQ tracks option? Try all of the tracks. If it doesn't work that means the file is probably corrupted :(

  • When I try to import a vsq, I can't! because some window pop's up that says "Bad file name or number", now what?

  • @anaco654 You're vsq may be corrupt, so try to find an alternate version, but if that doesn't work, it may also be your UTAU (so try to redownload it after).

  • Hiiiiiiii, I'm sorry if you kinda find this comment very UGH

since it has nothing to do with this video, but I was kinda wondering (for a pretty long time now -stalker-)

Where did you get the thing beside your taskbar? :I

  • @ChiauNing I'm pretty sure it's a Dell net book-only thing sorry... so far I haven't found anywhere you can actually download it.

  • @otakuJami Oh okay, thank you. :D

  • Where do you find ust and vsqs?

  • @addy1235 You can just search them anywhere on the internet - they're all over. It just depends on the song you want and if the ones you download are good or not.

  • help again please....i saved a small song(like 20 notes) as a ust and it loads perfectly fine in utau...but there is one problem, there is no sound what-so-ever. T.T y u utau hate me so much? so do you know y this keeps happening?

  • @meageekygirl Here's my blog with the answer to that ;D utausupertutorials.blogspot.com/2011/09/faq-1-how-come-no-sound-comes-out.html

  • What music is that in the background? :o

  • What program do you save the vsq in?

  • @chinaD22 It's not saved in a program, but if you mean file, it can be saved in any file.

  • @otakuJami my computer says it need to be saved in a program

  • @chinaD22 What kind of pop-up is it? Does it just say "Must be downloaded into a program" or something? Or does it allow you to browse your computer.

  • @otakuJami when I save it on my computer it defaults into a program that wouldn't be able to use is so I have to change the program, but it doesn't let me save it into a blank

  • Is that a Ran egg I see as your mouse?? X3

anyways thank you for the help I'm gonna get started on my UTAU...as soon as get a mic XD..anyways thanks a lot ^w^

  • VSQs never work in UTAU for me and I get the "Bad file/name/etc." error. Is it possibly a local problem, because Defoko does this too when I open UTAU itself as well as some USTs. Any idea what the problem may be and how to fix it? :|

  • @MewMeori Redownload UTAU.

  • @otakuJami ...Is this your answer to everything?

  • @MewMeori The "bad file/name" problem is usually solved by re-downloading UTAU, along with many other problems that occur in UTAU. I'm not sure if you've tried it yet, but if you did and it did not work, please tell me so I can provide with more information. Although, It is my sincerest apologies if it seemed that way.

  • @otakuJami I redownloaded it and it did nothing. Like I asked before, could it be a local issue, since most versions of Windows 7 can't read katakana?

  • @MewMeori Sorry, I missed that. And yes, it's possible. I don't have 7, so I can't be 100% sure. Have you set your unicode programs to Japanese in the regional settings?

  • @otakuJami The most you can do with most versions of 7 is make yourself able to type Japanese; there's no language pack for Japanese on most versions of windows because Microsoft desided to be stupid and make only two versions of Windows 7 have the language pack.

  • @MewMeori I'm sorry not being able to help. I will continue looking into this problem.

  • @otakuJami It's fine and thank you.

  • @MewMeori it's caused by you having a Japanese named UTAU at the top of your UTAU list. Re-name all of your Japanese UTAUs into romaji (even their character files if necessary), then run UTAU.

  • @Purufufuru ...The only UTAUloid on my list is Defoko.

  • @MewMeori then that's why. Change her name to "Defoko", open her character.txt and change her "name=" to "name=defoko", then you'll be able to import vsqs.

  • @Purufufuru Ok, I'll try that. Thank you very much!

  • @Purufufuru Nothing happened and I almost popped a vesel since it didn't let me change it at first.

  • @MewMeori really? well that's the problem, and did you change her character.txt or remove it?

  • @Purufufuru I had to save the edited character text elsewhere and then replaced the orignal one with the one saved else where.

  • @MewMeori ......... that doesn't sound right. I think it's your computer that's acting up

  • @Purufufuru ...I just got it back from the warehouse a few weeks ago...How can it be acting up?

  • the vsq wont work when i import ;_; and its not just one, its ALL the vsq's... ones that everyone usaully uses ;_; i dont know whats wrong

  • @GumiSilverLovah There is something probably wrong with your UTAU program. Try redownloading it. You dont have to redownload all the vsq's.

  • @otakuJami ooooh, thank you ^_^ i just downloaded the ZIP folder this time and it works :)

  • Your video is really good. It's a great tutorial. But I recommend either adding subtitles or lowering the BG music because youre a little hard to hear sometimes.

And a question. I'm a slow person so.. XD

I don't understand why all the UST files I download are broken up. How do I open them as one song or..? Im not really understanding. I'm just using UTAU to convert to VSQ for Vocaloid so. Any help you can give?

  • @TheBaosai I can't help the audio thing because it sounds fine on other peoples computers including mine; But I might start the subtitles (I was thinking about it).

USTs as mentioned, are not like VSQs because they cannot be combined, and therefore separate parts would be in different files. I'm orking on a tutorial on VSQ specifics, but I've been really busy lately (End of school exams and summer job things etc.). I'll try to get it done soon along with the oremo tutorial.

  • When I try to import a VSQ, it says "Bad name or number" ;A;

I've changed the name from english to japanise but it still won't work.

  • @TaraParker12345 That usually doesn't affect the bad name and number thing. That means either something is missing in the VSQ or the UTAU program. Try re-downloading the VSQ.

  • i though i would be the first to comment :'(

  • Thank you for the tutorial and your others! I wouldn't have gotten to make my UTAU if it weren't for your tutorials. You really good at explaining things. :D

  • @VocaloidFan95 I'm glad they are useful to you, thank you! :)

  • @otakuJami No THANK YOU!

  • @VocaloidFan95 You're very welcome!

  • Thank you! :)

  • @PandasRcute19 You're very welcome!
