I must say you could try a bit harder before you cut a game down. I'm guessing you were playing this on an emulator since the music sounded slowed down. That would also likely be why you didn't have the manual which is why you didn't know how to jump. Additionally there is a jump kick as well. Like others have said this version of the game is rather easy once you get the timing down.
@Nebrazca78 These are not meant to be official reviews, walkthrough etc just me picking up a game, having a play and seeing what I think. If the game doesn't appeal in the first few minutes it's going to leave a bad impression.
I never use emulators and on the rare occasion I do always make mention of it in the videos (such as when I bought my MAME setup). The reason the music sounds slower is because this is the PAL version as these are always slower than US.
Sorry for replying to my own post. But I remember my brother beating this game the first day we got it, which incidentally was for Christmas Lol. Anyway he got annoyed and complained how easy it was but for me I have always had trouble completing it...
I'd have been annoyed with that at Xmas :( I was always quite lucky in that respect because my parents used to pick games that would last long periods (such as Enduro Racer).
You need to kill 1 enemy at a time. You're racing too quickly and then you are being double teamed.
There is a tactic to every old school game. It's not like today's games where the gameplay is toned down to make it accessible to everyone.
My suggestion is to take your time with the controls of the game for a little while. Once you are used to the game controls you can then upload a video with the pros and cons of the game.
Haha, ace commentary; "hit him in the crotch, that takes him down". But yes...I played this a little on MAME a while ago, but it seemed more than a bit generic and after a while I just wanted to play Dragon Ninja or Shadow Dancer or anything but this.
Oh, and they're called "nunchucks" (or nunchaku.) :D
Excellent choice of games with the graphics and great vid man. A game that I still don't have but really do love it. Nice job on the commentary, no worries on the game play, it's a hard game and the MS really didn't have a whole lot of easy moves for the games so you did good with what you had!
what do you expect from a 1988 game?? characters are only going to have one or two moves at most

I have this for the TG 16. I saw the SMS version for sale at the flea market, but it is gone now.

its very similar at the beginning to 'Kung Fu' on the NES. Same kick and punch :)
Great video.

There's a fair amount of flicker but that's a surprisingly slick conversion for the MS. PC Engine one was better though ;)

I got major deja vu whilst watching this. A friend must've had this on the MS back in the day.

Thats what a month or so of being bored in hospital does. Fries the brain!

Doesn't look bad that, for a Master System game, something I'll need to pick up myself at some point.
I can only hope that I manage to avoid constant swearing when I make some videos of gameplay footage...:-|

I really wish I'd had the manual for it because I suspect there must be some form of special move. Otherwise its just too damn hard :(
