Safety is the most neglected issue on zap vehicles. they spent so much money on the issue of fuel efficiency and their safety department are the same people who designed those electric engines. Take a look at electric car crash test on youtube.

If you want sexy, check out Tesla Motors. This is a simple $10,000 car that will get you around town. They're coming out with the zap-x, which is what I hope to buy in a few years.

It's a pity they don't make affordable electric cars people consider sexy. It's like there's an unwritten rule that all affordable EV's must be ugly which annoys me, otherwise I'd buy one of those things.

Hey Gav, there are kind of affordable EVs. About $30-40K. Max tested range 456 miles. They got Sedan, SUV, and Truck.
