all you fuckers had to say was " hey dude nice work keep it up!" , but no, you fucks had to start doggin on him behind his back like schoolgirls on the fuckin rag. its time to be a man , take off the skirt, and GET THE SAND OUT OF YOUR VAG , and if you got something negative to say to this guy, dont fuckin say it. Bitch.
why is someone comparing bodybuilding to powerlifting? they are 2 entirely different sports , almost all sports involve resistance training so why not compare football to fuckin baseball? why not compare powerflifting to strongman or fuckin golf? it all involves hard work and training. Any 6 year old girl can talk shit about a guy showing is hard work on youtube, i want to see any of you puss bags walk up to this guy and his spotters and start a debate with him and dog on his use of equipment.
It's interesting how all the faggots in the comments are comparing bodybuilding to powerlifting while ignoring the fact that the guy just did a squat w/ a small house on his back.
Seriously, bodybuilding or powerlifting are both great sports..I respect both..But I would love to see these Strong fat guys atleast go parallel with the damn weights.Bodybuilders are mirror monkeys but powerlifters get so damn hung up on massive weights they don`t go no where deep enough on a squat but then again they could never move those weights without being gear whores either...I guess it`s like ass holes we all have one...lard ass pwrlifter or egotistical bbuilder.
the haters in here should put on a squat suit and try unracking half a ton. I mean i hate geared lifting as much as anybody, but it is no reason to take away from a great lift.
Oh and bodybuilders are nothing but glorified beauty queens. with a few exceptions, bodybuilders are usually weak for their weight. i'd much rather be 240 @ 25 percent bodyfat and be strong as fuck, then be some thong wearing bodybuilder.
Why do we feel the need to compare bodybuilding and powerlifting? They are completely different sports that require completely different sets of skills... Why not just give positive comments to a man who is very good at the sport he competes in... If you are concerned with his inability to run a fast 40 time then you have no business commenting on powerlifting videos...
who said anything about bodybuilding? did any of yall hear anybody say bodybuilding? Oh...and I don't know if I'ver ever seen a bodybuilder walk around with a robocop suit on trying to so called "lift" a weight...
Yeah, real "functional"...the only thing functioning is the elastic suit thats 4 sizes too small, the 20 ft. knee wraps that take 400 pounds just to bend his knees, and a belt that won't let him bend over with all that weight on his 5'2 ass. Not to mention the brace in the back of the suit. So...I guess theres some sort of function going on. But it aint his real strength. Try olympic lifting and see how much weight DOESNT go up.
@Bigbriansc It is a lot more functional than standing on a stage with a 4 sizes too small speedo trying to flex to be bigger than the next guy. Regardless of what equipment powerlifters use most bodybuilders use the same stuff to do less weights in general.
Bodybuilders are egotistical panzies. Its so fake. A lot of the time the best body doesn't always win. Its definately not a sport. Well a sport for panzies I suppose.
@mucktada, I am a bodybuilder, and I have to somewhat agree with you. There is a LOT of subjectivity when it comes to how we are judged and its definitely not always 100% fair. Be careful not to simplify our lifestyle too much though...There are a lot of different kinds of bodybuilders out there..Not all of us train for ego, just like not all power lifters are fatasses..ya know?
@mucktada there are some pretty hard core bodybuilders. ever watch branch warren train? watch some of his training, i have a feeling you may take back your statement...
@mucktada how can you say? perhaps you don't understand the dedication that is required to look "so fake". Now, I am power lifter and I'm not saying that BB is better than PL or vice verse, but to put down the work and persistence to reach a successful level of BB is ignorant. Both are respectable, and one isn't clearly better than the other, we're all brothers and sister of the iron.
@mucktada You don't have to revile against bodybuilding to praise powerlifting. They are both great sports, both of them needs dedication and sacrifice. Both of them deserves respect.
thats pretty lame of you to hate someone because of there body composition. Grow up dumbass. he has a family and a job and fits powerlifting into his schedule. I think he has more things to worry about that how "ripped" he is.
Yeah, its much more manly to be a tanned homo with a six pack and no body hair. Powerlifters actually have functional strength, not like bodybuilding which is all about aesthetics. By the way, guys like this have a better shwartz formula than most bodybuilders.
@RebelWrestler45...:sigh: the most common assumption that powerlifters make when attempting to condescend bodybuilding is to argue that we don't have functional strength. We are not powerlifters, but we are strong people. Go ahead and look up Layne Norton, and you'll see what I mean. Also, what's wrong with aesthetics? Are you not an appreciator of art?
@yeagemk I was obviously being facetious, to a point, in order to counteract the very ignorant statement that I replied to. Let me rephrase; bodybuilders do not lift for strength, but for aesthetics only, therefore they cannot hope to have the same amount of strength per pound of lean mass (or in most cases, per pound of total bodyweight) as a powerlifter. Obviously there are exceptions to the rule; namely Stan Efferding and Johnnie Jackson.
@yeagemk layne norton gets his strength from his powerlifting training. bodybuilding is simply aesthetics. yes, if you have a lot of muscle you'll be fairly strong, but powerlifting is in no way like bodybuilding, i'm not sure why you're comparing them.
@dm325, It wasn't I who initially compared the two. You need to look beyond me to find the root of this argument. I forget how it started, to be honest with you. Regarding the notion that powerlifting and bodybuilding are apples and oranges, I am first to raise my hand, believe me. That being said, as a bodybuilder, I do incorperate powerlifting training methodology into my bodybuilding routine, and I am not the only bodybuilder who does such. So there CAN be overlap in training.
@RebelWrestler45 yes because your really have 1135lbs on your back and have to squat it in a rl situation. there can be a happy medium of strength and aesthetics.

stfu man i dont give 5 shits about stregnth because no human needs that much stregnth, his an out of shape fat fuck i bet he can run 100 meters. he'll probably face plant the first 50 meters he runs.i dont give a shit about powerlifting its for fat people who wonna feel good about them selves because they cant do bodybuilding
then why isnt strength? if thats someones goal and someones sport then its for them
and if your too weak to keep up, i guess i can understand you making the excuse nobody needs to be that strong.
its a sport like anything else
nobody needs to be able to run a marathon, or even be the best at football to survive, but ppl strive for that, and i dont hear you bitching about them

its a sport that alot of guys at the top are actually lean at
i would rather have functional strength than be an oiled up pretty boy who cant do shit
and i doubt Jay Cutler or any BB would do to great running either.
And if you want to say powerlifting is just to make fat ppl feel good, even though thats not true, then how about this
bodybuilding makes weak fucks who cant actually do anything feel good
and running is to make skinny people feel good.
