  • Graphite is a type of carbon! The other type is diamond!

  • @KroMcLovinFaSho Yeah but the question asked for an element, graphite is not an element.

  • the announcer was laughing at that measly $255

  • I have to wonder... if he won $255... and WON...what did the people who got second and third place get? This was when they got $2000 and $1000 respectively right?

  • @blossom114 my thought exactly!

  • They were smart enough to get on the show but didn't know pinking shears??? what the buck...

  • This aired 1/25/08.

  • A New Mexican (Joanna), a Californian (Ethan), and a Texan (Murtaza) is what is on Jeopardy. xD

  • Why bad comment?! I was just curious.

  • When was that episode in? 2000? 01? 02?

  • ha ha Ethan is my cousin!!

  • Cool! Jeopardy in HD!!!

  • Teachers, Students and Lawyers do very well on this show.

  • If you didn't watch yeaterday's program, he had John Rockefeller but crossed it out and wrote the same response Kate wrote down. Murtaza and Kate wrote "Who is Carnegie?" Amanda had the lead going into Final Jeopardy!

  • When was that episode? Cuz I haven't seen it.

  • @animfan1 Murtaza was in the lead with $12,600 going into the previous game's Final Jeopardy. The returning champion was in second place with $12,400, had the correct response but spelled it wrong (added an R after the first E in "Rockefeller"), and she had wagered everything. And Murtaza bet $12,345.

  • how funny does that champion feel making $255 and getting introduced as so

  • I believe $255 is the lowest amount for a one-day winnings total, not counting $0...and Alex's walk is hilarious...LOL...

  • Actually someone won $1 back in 1993.

  • How??

  • Not good I'm guessing

  • And he was only a one-time champion...walking home with a total of $2,255...he won $255 in his last game show, and on this episode, he came in second place, so $2000 was for him...

  • csifan18: Actually, somebody won $1 back in 1993.

  • Yes I found out more about it as I watched that episode.

  • Great first half! I hope Double Jeopardy is coming soon!
