However, I disagree with you on this one - it has the same kind of melodic genius and powerful chorus that made Edguy famous in the first place. The sound certainly sound more polished than 10 years ago, but you should not attack them for being able to afford more expensive production.

@ChrislikesJFK Where you think polished, I think overproduced. Music is supposed to sound like it was made by people, and not computers. Where everything is so fine tuned, that it loses it's charm, and rock 'n' roll gets lost. It's the entire point of Opeth's latest release, Heritage, where they wanted to go back to rock music's "earthly" roots.

But this is, of course, just my opinion.
