  • he looks the same age...good for him

  • @Slauto who are you? Was the condo at Bay Mariner Or Leparc???

  • Dad and his "Gift Of Gab".. @Germany1111- I wish I could dispute what you said about him. He made more $ than most could dream of and never "invested" like Ron did. But talking to my father is an experience unworthy of any $.. He is an amazing guy and tells a story like u wouldn't BELIEVE. I'm very proud to be a Welch. =)

  • I remember watching Ron Fuller in Georgia

  • Smart, smart guy for wrestling, but unfortunately, piss-poor with money. His brother finished with wrestling a rich man, but Rob has had to stay with it. These guys owned Continental, the territory my hometown was in [Pensacola, FL].

  • He's STILL "The Tennessee Studd"...WWE NEEDS Guys like him as Road Agents/Producers &/or w/ a 'Legends" Contract...

  • As a kid I used to love to go see Roberts Dad Buddy Fuller wrestle at the Atlanta City Auditorium. Especially against Mario Gallento!!!! LOL

  • Ron and Robert Welch(Fuller).2 of the most underrated wrestlers of all time! And distant cousins of mine!

  • Long before Col. Rob Parker, Robert Fuller was a pretty good wrestler. I recall him fueding with the Freebirds in their early days.

  • ...The Welch Family is Very Rich in Wrestling in the south among generations,is somewhat that of The Cormier family of the north-east...

  • I STILL think he'd make a hell of a Road Agent &/or Producer/Writer in WWE/TNA/ROH...

  • Remember that if you buy a shoot interview, you're supporting the wrestlers, but if you buy an RF Video shoot interview, you're supporting a pedophile (RF = Rob Feinstein...look up his history).

    BUY HIGHSPOTS!

  • His tie looks like a small suit.

  • Does this man also promote deep fat southern fried chicken and fixin's ? It must be the neck wear and the "Colonel" monicker.

  • @Buckeyecat2002 Colonel is a title someone gets in recognition of an accomplishment down in Kentuckuh. Colonel Sanders is just one of them, its a whole thing.

  • this guy is so cool. he used to live in the same condo building as my grandparents. every summer i would stay with them and robert kinda took me under his wing when i was there. he got me into lifting weights and tell me stories. i still see him every now and then.

  • robert a true redneck,i love to hear him talk.

  • Favorite Robert Fuller line-

Mean Gene: Do you ever take off that hat?

Fuller: I would take my hat off for a lady, but I never met one!

  • ron wasa huge(6'9")...but he could move VERY well...like 'taker now...plus he was an AWESOME promoter/booker as well as performer...at least from what ive heard/read...some of the "90 Minutes W/ Ron(nie) Garvin" interview in a recent THE WRESTLER/INSIDE WRESTLING 2-IN-1 from awhile ago...idk if i still have it,though...plus other sources...

  • Tennessee Lee was awesome, awesome manager and promoter.

  • I've seen Robert,Ron and Jimmy Golden in my hometown of Florence,Alabama many times.I'm glad 2 see those guy in their prime.I wish pro wrestling had storylines like the 80's it really sucks now!

  • wonder what ole anderson and fuller think of each other??

  • One of the all-time greats. Shame that he's known, by most fans, only as Col. Parker.

  • @CadillacL or worse again... Tennessee Lee.

  • @MacCanann AH yes. I (thankfully) forgot about that.

  • @CadillacL I never realized how tough Fuller was until Meltzer/Honky Tonk Man said Fuller was one of the guys who helped break Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit in at the New Japan Dojo.

  • @RSXemperor Yes indeed. Fuller was one of the toughest to step in a rong. So was his brother Ron.

  • He looks just the same as he did in 1988 when he competed on Continental Championship Wrestling in Alabama.

  • Parker stole his accent from Foghorn Leghorn.

  • @aoxomoxoadead Robert Fuller real name is Robert Welch...His dad's name was Ed Welch..but they used the name Fuller..They are from Dyersburg, Tn...I know of a man who trained with their dad and he said "YOU TALK ABOUT MAKING A COUPLE OF KIDS TOUGH"...he would grab this kids ( Ron and Robert) when they were like 6 and 7 years old by the hair of the head and walk around the ring with them...

  • Wow he doesn't havge that much of a southern accent out of character.

  • did they ever get 2 the rumors of why hes called "THE TENNESSEE STUD"!!!!!...maybe i should get the dvd & find out myself!!

  • get/watch THE WHOLE F'N' shoot dvd!!!!!

  • he should have his own tv show...where hed tell old west &/or wrestling stories 2 young'uns & what-not...hes THAT good!!

  • He should introduce Sid Vicious vs Chris Jericho

  • Is that Neil Patrick Harris???

Yeah,he starred in Harold and Kumar go to White Castle

  • I have no idea what he is talking about...

  • Agreed. This is horrible. I want my 2:37 back!

  • He sounds and looks a bit like a southern baptist preacher, LOL

  • JBL stole his look from Fuller..

  • And his moves from Stan Hansen

  • And his personality from a mannequin.

  • Well, not really, he stole his personality from Al Gore, but then again...

    Al Gore

    a mannequin

    What's the difference

  • hahaha more JBL jokes NAO

  • Sean Waltman went on Bubba the Love Sponge a few years back and said Fuller had one of the biggest dicks of all the boys in the showers. He said he "almost shit my pants" when he saw it. Bubba laughed at the thought of Sean "checking out cocks."

  • I need to see this entire interview!

  • This is what wrestling lacks now adays, the characters of the old days. This is what made wrestling great.

  • Is Rick Fuller Robert's brother?

  • The Tennessee Stud Ron Fuller is his brother.

  • I can't believe he wore that outfit to the shoot

  • LMAO, I thought it was Colonel Sanders. btw that honey bbq chicken is good as hell!

  • I guess I need to see this...

  • Robert Fuller...another one of the ALL-TIME greats.

  • kinda sounds like an old school politician when he speaks

  • The Colonel!

  • Hes got a big pecker

  • You goan be my little fried pie!!

  • The greatest promoter on the face of the earth....Colonel Robert Parker.

  • can't wait for the release of that one. fuller is a good story teller.

  • where can i see the rest?

  • A commercial......good grief.

  • wow..I never would've known that his TV voice was a work..he sounds nothing like his character..lol..looking forward to it!
