This was the cut my senior year in high school. I have been looking for this song for at least ten years... Thanks icecoldbruh... yeah, this was the jam. I played it out in my cassette player.
Oh ya'll dug this one out of the basement. I heard this song one time when I woke up in the middle of the night at 1:00 clock in the morning on the radio and I never forgot it.
Ahhhh one of my favs. I busted this out Saturday night at a surprise birthday party. They didn't remember it but they sure grooved to it on the dance floor.
This cd was a the first I ever saw that had a picture on it. B4 that, it was just words(artist, song title, etc). That's why this song stands out to me.
This song just came out of nowhere in early 1992. Very new jack swing. I thought they sounded like a cross between Hi-Five and Boyz II Men vocally but with that hi-charged new jack swing groove over it.
I had this on a tape...the tape broke. could never find this cut again anywhere and no one knew what i was talking about but mad props for posting it on here!
i thought this song was a figment of my imagination. i heard it once and it stuck with me. i've been askin people if they remember it and no one could recall. well just goes to show u can find anything on youtube.
He actually just signed with Universal Records. His album is almost done...he's still doing R&B but now he has a more neyo-ish sound. I like all his new stuff. I have some of his new stuff, if you want to hear it?
And he doesn't go by smoove anymore, he goes by Carl Brown.
OMG!!! I was starting to think i imagined it!!you can't understand what a toned-deaf jackass i looked like asking people about this song!!!! We need a list of the one hit wonders.
Hey let me tell you....this song was tight....very nice for his time. Most people just did not understand. He had a few other nice cuts on the album. I still listen to it in my ipod today!!!
@icecoldbruh no matter when a jam was made, if it was tight, then it can NEVER be outplayed. there are still songs that came out of this time period that would add spice to these radio stations nowadays. thanks to these radio CEO's, that's impossible. but some of the smaller city stations, they got some say...(-: But in any event, it is indeed still a banger. (-:
