yeah 3.21 is a new gear for 09 .this is for driving down the highwy hence the low gear ratio. only the shittiest 2wd trucks come with them. this guys is a idiot. who braigs about having the worst rear end in town lol its still the dana 44 case atleast, dodge has been using scince like 1975 the gears used are. 3.21, 3.55, 3.90,

4.10, 4.56 i was told rams with 20'' rims all have 390 gears. most people got 3;55 gears. i used to have 390, but i went with the 4.10 s

why does yours have an open diff? i forgot my ratio but i got a limited slip that locks up really well to roast both tires

@dodgeperformance1 We figured out my sister's 2011 hemi locks them both up right away today, idk why this one is just a open diff but my other sister's 04 is open diff too. The 2011 really turns them loose easy tho lol

@chevyv8HD well sadly i found out that i have 3.55 gears and those dont have a limited slip diff. but for some reason they do both light up well and keep goin til about 35 from a stop with no brake stand. but i dont know why his could be a 3.21 open diff for an 09 i didnt know they had those ratios i just know they had 3.55 open and 3.93 limited slip and for some had 4.10 gearing like the 3/4 ton and 1 tons

If you modding a truck the first thing you need is a posi rear with some steeper gears. With that stock rear end you arent getting all your power down to the wheels

IDK what yall are bitch about but the new single cab short bed hemis will run 13.7s 100% stock. No other stock NA truck is running anywhere near that. My 07 ran 14.81 100% stock which is way faster than those chevys and GMCs are running. If I had a short bed and a 3.92 from the factory I could have been running 14.5s 100% stock. That's impressive for a 5000 lb truck

Just a Superchips programmer, running the 93 tune along with the torque management set to 6%. Got a drop in k&n but that no biggie. The programmer along with my 3.92 gears really made a huge difference.
