  • I forgot the name of this song and thanks to my brother, he told me the name and now I am listening to it.

  • This really is a great song.

  • Absolutely love this song! Thank you for posting!

  • Always thought this had a British feel. Great song, great memories. We saw Gary Lewis perform in Branson, MO. He waved at my wife!

  • nice memories to go back to, when you hear this songs of Gary Lewis and the playboys.I love it........

  • Wow, had looked for this for a lifetime. So glad you posted this. Reminds me of my first love and tryin to get my point across.... Wow..... wow..... This is so totally awesome..... The best of the best....

  • A great tune. In the late 60s, my pre-teen friends and I thought this song was "groovy!"

  • Good memories. Thank you for sharing.

  • Great Oldie----Gary Lewis was prolific and underrated........

  • Remembering happy days in 1966...........

  • love this song....i remember singing this on my gig back in 1988....cant believe i can still find the tune here in Youtube. excellent!!!!!

keep uploading oldies...they are always the goodies when it comes to lyrics....

  • Ha ha! From reading some of these comments, I see I'm not the only one whose mom loved this tune. At age 61, she finds it a bit corny now though. I love it. I'd love to cover it if I could get a band together. With all these young kids learning mariachi music, they could probably nail the horn section featured here no problem. They'd just have to learn to "blow in" easily on the verses and not blast!

  • WOW! right on. Great song. I don't remember it but it sure fits where I'am at now!

  • This is the tune by Gary Lewis & the Playboys that is usually forgotten. Its too good to be forgotten.

  • I still remember it. Have on LP and .45. Great song, probably my first or second Gary Lewis song.

  • I'm 32 and my mom had the original 45 of this tune, the only Gary Lewis song she owned. I loved playing her 45s from the '60s; The Hollies, The Beau Brummels, Sir Douglas Quintet, The Seekers, The Outsiders, etc. This was one of the few 45s she owned that had a picture sleeve (the green one with the photo of the band at the bottom). About a year ago, I found another copy with the sleeve!

  • Good for you. I took this cut off the LP. Nice find on the picture sleeve.

  • ¡Aplausos al genio Gary Lewis!

  • one of the best songs of gary lewis my mom loved it thanks

  • Your welcome.
