Brian how long have you been flying? This video is top notch. I live in SD and have the go pro. I only need the RC plane now. Would be nice to do that flight in the morning without the sun glare over the Ocean. Nice shot at 1:00 over Mission Bld
@Shreddddder Thanks Shred! That would be cool to video at dawn with the glassy water and the colors of sunrise. Great idea, thx. I've been flying off and on for a long time, 20 years or so, but I'm new to power planes so still learning. Have you flown RC at all? I hear the Multiplex Easystar is a great starter plane, and perfectly suited to a video camera too, being of the pusher-prop configuration. Might get one myself.
@BrianSanDiego1 Never have flown RC. Looking to get into it for sure. Easy-star would be a good start. Once I get my first plane I could meet you at Fiesta for a few beginner tips. Was looking at the FPV flying with wireless video. That would be the ultimate goal
Dude sweet vid! I do the same thing with my plane (in PB). What kind of cam do you use?? I use a cheapo md80 china knock off works well though. Keep up the good work!!
@surferjoe36 Thanks a lot Joe! I checked out your videos too and like your PB flight as well. I guess I'm not the only one with the great idea ;-) I am thinking about picking up an Easy Star plane too, as a more stable camera platform. Yes, its a GoPro Hero HD onboard. A bit large and heavy for my plane though but still works alright. Thanks again.

What's your All up Weight with the camera? Cheers. FANTASTIC scenery btw...

@tr4nscend Thanks, I'm not sure of the weight though, I don't have a good scale. Kinda' heavy I guess? :-)

@BrianSanDiego1 Is it withthe stock motor?
tr4nscend 6 months ago
@tr4nscend Two power packages are available for the Xeno. Mine has the higher performance "Tuning power set." So yes, stock motor.

nice video, didn't knew the xeno can take that much weight.

@amitsingh488 Thanks man. Yes, it is really surprising this plane does handle the weight and drag of the camera as well as it does.
