My 9th grade choir sang a South Pacific medly, but I've never had any desire to see the film.  This makes me want to see it. SJB is a charmer, plain and simple. She can sing a song I'm not crazy about and make me like it. The only other person I've encountered who can do that is Julie Andrews.

Stephanie was about 25 when she played in this production of South Pacific in 1997. Anest was even younger even though his character is supposed to be much older than Nellie Forbush. Both Stephanie & Anest got rave reviews for their performances.
