Very nice composition. But how do you make these up? When I try to compose it always end with songs I have heard or learned.

A week ago I finally composed my so called "master piece" and than I found out has te same chords as "I can go the distance" in like the same order O_O

I hate it!!! Also now I get annoyed that I sometimes end up with some canon chord combination.

How do you find these chord combination but not making it sound by a piece or song that already exists?

@LarsVanDerLugt The key is first finding a nice melody. Just don't think, let your mind wander, and let your fingers move. Thne once you have a nice melody, find chords to go along with it. chords don't have to be exactly original. It's just not gonna happen. Unless you use all augmented chords or something.

But the key is to write something form your heart.

Definitely has the pop feel, although it's funny that the ii chord doesn't really happen in pop right now. I can't say I've honestly heard a real I-vi-ii-V in this generation. Not that I'm complaining... not a huge fan of standards. Great melody here I'd say. Despite the pop feel and simplicity, your presentation has that majesty to it, which again gives me the Disney/film vibe. Hope that is seen as a compliment.

As someone who uses keyboards, how do you record without the sound of all that action your fingers on your keys make in your recordings? I use to plug in the keyboard output directly into the computer line in and use audacity. But if you did that you would have to re sync the audio with the movie.
