Very nice! Very clean sounding. I just started playing the guitar not to long ago and would like to be able to play like this one day. I bought a Seagull Entourage. I pick my guitar up and play a little every day. Im going to see Tommy Emmanuel play tomorrow in The Woodlands Tx. I cant wait, I know its going to be a hell of a show! Maybe I can get lucky enough to have him sign my guitar.

What i like about this cover the most is that while staying nearly perfect to the composers intention, you stayed away from all the grace notes that tommy is so good at, thus making it much easier for" those who wait"on there own cover to develop into the beautiful piece this is. Im39 years in and this is one of those songs i play just to set my mood , its one of my faverot's. Fine job brother,,now go plop a mic in that bitch and you'r there :-)

It's comprehensive guitar, but in band (when we're playing acoustic) We have only vocal + Ibanez (me). I don't know what it is sounds with other instruments, beacause I've never tried. ;-) Usually I'm playing on electric guitar.

Intanto grazie dei complimenti! :) qui credo montavo ancora delle 0.11 della Daddario. Ora sempre Elixir 0.12. L'equalizzazione non me la ricordo purtroppo...fare questo video è stata una prova, non sono molto pratico in home recording. Microfonando il suono sarebbe stato migliore sicuramente...più "corposo"

Si la tab l'ho presa on-line, però non so dirti esattamente quale avevo usato... se cerchi in google "Tabok Tommy Emmanuel" il primo risultato ti porta ad una pagina dove ci sono un bel pò di spartiti suoi. Io molte sue canzoni le ho imparate da lì...le tab son valide

Oggi ho provato la chitarra ma l'esemplare aveva un action troppo alta.. Il negozio è reticente a farla regolare troppo... venerdì passerà il loro liutaio e verificheranno se si possa migliorare senza grosse manovre... Non so se posso fidarmi ... la tua era ok o l'hai dovuta far sistemare ?

Effettivamente le vendono con un action troppo alta. L''ho sistemata io stesso procurandomi un paio di ponticelli su cui fare delle prove, così da non rischiare di rovinare l'originale. Poi via di carta vetrata, prima a grana grossa e poi fine per rifinire. Dopo un paio di tentativi ci son riuscito, si deve fare un lavoro davvero perfetto, altrimenti l'amplificazione delle corde risulta disomogenea!

Your B is out of tune. and you need to change the strings or something. But great fingering. Keep at it and the gaps will disappear.

Congrats I think you've done a really great job with that piece. About TE's pickups - see other posts there is some discussions about TE keeping the steel and wood sound through his system (18v preamp in the bridge and a mike inside the guitar)

Are you using the combo JCM 900? Becuase the JCM 900 duel reverb heads came in 4100 and 4500 line.

oh ok, I got it...it's a 4102 Model of Dual Reverb. Honestly I don't know if originally was a combo model or a head. I got it in a combo chassis, but when I bought it from a friend of mine he said that was a marshall head embedded in a combo chassis with 2x12 speakers.
