All those things you mention about anger,anxiety,worry,stress etc will also stop the flow of God, of his giving, He wants to give us so much more but when we worry and try to do it ourselves we are not letting God into our lives and stop the flow of blessings that he wants us to have so much. I will only read and understand it once there is infallible logical and evidential proof that it is irrefutable evidence. You have got all your faith in one book. There is no evidence for many of its assertions. Prove that Jesus was the Son of God etc. Although there may be some archaeological evdience, that means nothing as Jesus has not been isolated, nor have many of its stories. I cannot understand how people can have hardline faith on a book which has not been 100% proven. Not even 10% imo.

I know that you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and Bible is God's word, but how can you believe in something when your proof is totally fallible. This is what I get confused about in religion. Many say they have faith in their religion, believing in something even though there is not perfect evidence in favour of the belief: if there is not 100% proof, how can you have 100% belief and faith?! It never fails to amaze me!
My changed life is my proof, the way God's word (the Bible) now comes alive when I read it as He speaks to me through it is my proof. His presence in my life is my proof...
